Huddersfield pretty much worked us out.. Bristol have tonight.. our MO will need to change to avoid continual repeats of this.

Coventry were pretty poor but our style of play just made it very easy for a very average side. Plodding donkey football just allows virtually every team we play to comfortably get into a bank of 5 and 4. How many runs did our forwards make, stuart Armstrong make and we ignore, and play the safe sideways pass. This all stems from our management. Martin waffles on about being brave, we ain’t brave in the final third. That was a hard watch, boring. My son even asked what which direction we were playing.

Be bloody braver up front.. and aribo just not impactful enough. It’s a difficult watch this. Passing for the sake of passing.

Finally moved the ball quickly today and created more space.. it’s not rocked science but a good performance.

It’s pretty dire football to watch.. I don’t mind possession but when you get a chance to counter attack but choose to retain the ball instead and go into safe mode, that’s what I don’t get.. I imagine the attacking players are pretty pissed off, we hardly create any chances, we rarely push to the bye line. It’s just very boring, unimaginative football. I’m not actually sure how we’ve got so many points by being bloody average, bar 30 mins against Leeds.

The problem is when we do pinch the ball and forward options are on, we often play safe and go Backwards or sideways. I get it when we have possession from a goal kick that we try and draw teams out but you have to move the ball quicker.
