RIP John Christie.

Bob...passed on Thursday aged 82 years and another Saints GK John Christie passed in the last few days aged 84 years....John has been coming to Saints games up to his passing.. RIP Bob and John. Thanks FF for putting up about John.. Whilst BB was telling me.....you saved me starting the thread.. Fond memories of these Saints from my days starting...1956/7 out behind the Goal Milton Road end...

To answer the question again..Would I swap positions with Hull? NO I WOULD NOT..........EVEN IF THEY WERE IN THE FINAL... From 1956/7 season.....My Dad took me to the Dell......hook line and sinker.. Trophies are a bonus.....League , Cup etc.....Lovely rewarding days out...even when we lost at Wembley... Good luck to teams left in FA Cup.. Our time will come again... Until then Saints forever and not even hypothetical swap....NO CHANCE. We all knew that Adam Lallana had unbelievable talent... He is now producing even more of the same in the top league.. Top player and deserving all the praise going his way.. World class footballer.:)
