According to The Guardian we’re looking for: Southampton intend to recruit a football director who will be tasked with leading recruitment, analysis and the academy.

So with Ross resigning, what do we think will happen? Limited funds in January & a load of players we can’t get rid of. Will be interesting to see who we go for, with effectively no football experience at board level making decisions.

Geographically it suits him. Big challenge too. I’m not exactly convinced by their finances though.

With Ross & Les gone, we need somebody to feed The Telegraph positive pieces!
