Even I could tell Gueye was great at Villa & could’ve been a great signing. Tackling & interception stats were only 2nd behind Kante that season.

What a signing Gueye was for £8m. His stats were great for Villa, even that season when Villa were terrible.

This is true. Unless nobody comes in for them & then we are stuck with them. Some European transfer windows (Spain, for example) shut later than ours so that’s when clubs will have us by the balls.

:D tremendous timeline of events. It’s been very quiet on the Reed front, actually. Lots of very early summer talk but was always about him wanting to stay & prove himself (which I’m guessing isn’t happening).
