Credit where it's due today. WBA sounded poor, but we can only play whats in front of us.
A minor miracle neither Sturridge/J-Rod scored against us.
So happy to win. Almost forgotten what a weekend league win feels like.
@AdamBlackmore: Here is how I see it today for #saintsfc and Pellegrino:
Win & he keeps his job
Lose & take only 1pt from Brighton & WBA, his position is untenable.
Draw and the board have a decision to make that must already be in their minds, and planned for, you would hope.
We will soon for no out what sort of owner he is if we get relegated.
Even Gold / Sullivan & Mike Ashley have gotten straight back up.
Worst case scenario is if he's a Venky's or Ellis Short.
Can't say I'm surprised. If we just look at MP's role in isolation of purely developing young players, short of playing Obafemi out of necessity, he's done f*ck all at developing any players.
Very likely this. Probably a lad at another club who's contract is up at the end of the season who we're having a look at.
(A bit like how Will Wood went down to the Skates for a week).
No chance of relegation this season as we're targeting the Top 10.
