  1. Well I guess their overall wages are fairly low and they get a sh*t ton on TV money. The TV money probably makes their low attendance fairly irrelevant. If I'm wrong, someone will quickly correct me.
  2. Chelsea are the absolute bosses of hoarding talent and selling off for huge profits. Ethically, it's a bit sh*t. But a hell of a cash generator.
  3. @StuartJamesGNM: Nathan Ake's £20m move from Chelsea to Bournemouth set to go through in next 48hrs - only small details to sort. Ake to sign 5-yr contract
  4. Half expected Simon Peach / Jeremy Wilson / Adam Leitch / The OS to all have done interviews with Les today. Was it just a Sky Sports thing?
  5. Arsenal make bids totalling £85m for Thomas Lemar and Alexandre Lacazette and sound out Leicester over Riyad Mahrez: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/28/arsenal-make-bids-totalling-85m-thomas-lemarand-alexandre-lacazette/
  6. So for those of us who love to talk about replacements -- Stephens to replace Fonte? & Bednarek to take Stephens' old positions as back-up?
  7. Exactly. Some people forget this though.

  9. This who thing has one enormous caveat: If a massive offer comes in, we will sell.

  14. Manchester City reignite transfer interest in Southampton's Ryan Bertrand as Monaco demand £40m-plus for Benjamin Mendy: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-city-reignite-transfer-interest-10698994
  15. @K_Stanowski: Done! Jan Bednarek i menedżer Tomek Magdziarz z Fabryki Futbolu w drodze do Anglii na testy medyczne w Southampton.
  16. I thought Sam G would take his place. Might there be another striker exit?
  17. Take slow, deep breaths & relax.
  18. Agree (as above). Ake/Gibson would be perfect players to partner VvD.
  19. I quite like Gibson, good player & left footed too, but I'm not sure he would truly be a "VvD replacement". Virgil has numerous qualities, but the key thing that any replacement would need to replace is his aerial dominance. We got battered by physical strikers without him.
  20. SWANS IN TALKS FOR ROQUE MESA Sky sources understand Swansea are in advanced talks to sign Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa for a deal worth £11m. The Premier League club have beaten off competition from European rivals Roma and Sevilla to land the 28-year-old, who would be Swansea’s first signing of the summer. We’re told that while the deal is progressing as planned, it has not been finalised as yet. The Spaniard has made 126 appearances for Las Palmas since making his debut in 2011.
  21. West Ham spinning so many striker plates, that they likely just forgot about him. Everton seemingly stocking up their attack with Sandro Ramirez set to join as well. Good couple of strikers there for around £13m.
  22. EVERTON AGREE ONYEKURU DEAL Sky sources understand Everton have agreed deal to sign Henry Onyekuru from KAS Eurpen. The Nigerian striker was the joint top scorer in Belgium last season. He had £6.8m release clause in his contract and his advisers had also been in talks with other clubs, including Arsenal and West Ham. The 20-year-old, who doesn't qualify for a work permit yet, will be loaned to Anderlecht for next season (doesn’t qualify for work permit yet).

  24. Yeah, looks great. Can't see Real wanting him to move over here on loan though. They will likely want him to get more game time in Spain.
