  1. This is a very salient point, but also, it's Alaves. By all accounts, he did a fairly remarkable job there.

  5. Ah yes! The only positive Lander article I've ever read.
  6. Is there a link?
  7. HAMMERS EYE GIROUD West Ham are trying to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, according to Sky sources. Giroud is on a list of of attacking players West Ham are interested in signing this summer, with Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City), Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea), Adama Traore (Middlesbrough) and Henry Onyekuru (KAS Eupen). The France international scored 19 times last season, but he began only 11 league games and Arsene Wenger preferred to start with Danny Welbeck in the FA Cup final. The player signed a new Arsenal contract in January which runs out in the summer of 2019, but his future at the club is uncertain with Wenger trying to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco and Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
  8. Where is the link that says the mystery man is German?

  11. If he wants to, then yes.
  12. I don't know! I just feel the fact that we are happy to name the other 2, but not the other might be telling.
  13. I'm currently going to assume it's our preferred candidate...
  14. Would be a huge change of pretty much every requirement we've had previously. Interviews would be much better though.
  15. @_pauljoyce: Everton set to complete signing of Sandro Ramirez. Player had medical last weekend.

  17. No worries. I hadn't actually read it before I posted it. Some interesting detail in there. Again making reference to "one other candidate". Interesting to see Nagelsmann get a mention too. Did our messing around cost us Marco Silva?
  18. I loved Cork but we could probably get so much more for our money on the continent if we were looking to spend that much.
  19. Telegraph / The Echo / Simon Peach have insinuated he was considered but not an option / he's not interested.

  22. Spurs want £20m for Wimmer. Wtf.
  23. That was the main thing I noticed (aside from Claude being back in the race).
