  1. You don't think he hears the fans chant Pards' name and quietly hates him for it do you?!
  2. Frigging mental if true. (Which i'm sure it is)
  3. Can't beat a snickers. They need to bring back peanut lion bars too.
  4. Agreed. Thing is, Solent have a commercial deal with the club - So the 'rumour' that Marcus wasn't happy, isn't just some random rumour, IMO. I'm also fairly sure that the article in the mail about his job being under threat was fed to the mail by Pardew too. No smoke without fire, and I fear he'll leave after the meeting. It'll be a shocking decsion if that happens.
  5. Doesn't Pardew have good contacts at the mail?
  6. Good shout, but I think he'd be best in a team where he'd play week in & week out.
  7. Top player on FM. But on his last comeback, his knee broke-down again. Not worth the risk.
  8. I think he's sorted them out hasn't he?
  9. I wouldn't want him - But he is the type of player we need if we lost Lambo for any amount of time. His name did cross my mind yesterday, actually after I heard Pards talking about needing a similar type of player to Rickie. What about Alan Lee at Palace? Or Kevin Kyle?
  10. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1269622/Southampton-want-1m-Portsmouth-star-Hayden-Mullins.html?ITO=1490
  11. I'd sign him, as long as he's not had a dodgy spell with injury's lately.
  12. FORECAST -- 5 year contract? Joke. MOLYNEUX -- Reminder of those final dark days. MURTY -- Really good player, but sadly not been fit for 75% of the season. THOMAS -- Ideal player to have in the squad, covers 2 positions, but don't think that merits 8k a week. LANCASHIRE -- Not going to cut it for us at the level we're aiming for. PERRY -- Been a great player for us. But contract is up. GILLETT - Fresh start needed. PULIS -- No comment needed. HOLMES -- I rate him when fit, and on form. But neither of those 2 things happen enough! THOMSON -- I had high hopes, but Punch/Antonio are on another level. McCLAGGON -- Loan move, perhaps? WHITE -- Been hit by injuries. Fresh start needed.
  13. Carsley would be a top signing. How about someone who was getting premiership games, but is no longer a premiership player -- Wade Elliott?
  14. Bailey too!
  15. I don't think Portsmouth are in a position to be demanding prices for anyone!
  16. Did he ever sign that elusive new contract with Rovers?
  17. As much as my heart tell's me not to worry -- I'm still worried! They can offer Champions League football, afterall. Fingers-crossed that they take Paul Lambert instead and we don't have to worry!
  18. Think he's still at Sheff Utd. He's just on loan at Donny. Wonder how long he's got left on his contract? Bryan Robson signed him. That seems like ages ago. Shame he's scored so many goals for Donny this year. They'll be quite a few looking at him. He's the sort of player a relegated prem team should look to sign. (Well, the one's that have money, anyway!)
  19. I hope so. Can he play at right back too? I wonder if he'll replace both Thomas AND Perry for next season?
  20. You're a hard man to please, Lee! Sounded like a patchy game, but I'm really pleased we held on yesterday. Charlton have won a lot of points from coming back from being a goal down this season. We keep on picking up points without playing all that well which is pretty damned important, but we're going to have to improve to pick up anything on tuesday. It's been along time since we made up a maximum 3 point gain on 6th position too. If we win against Bristol Rovers, the pressure is going to be seriously on Colchester & Huddersfield.
  21. Puncheon working just off a lone striker hasn't worked yet! Let's hope today's the day!!
  22. Yeah, I saw that they'd signed him. Seriously, how many strikers do they have now? Blackstock, Earnshaw, Tyson, Boyd, Garner, McGoldrick? That is some SERIOUS power up top!
  23. I think a lot depends on what happens with our outgoing players. I think we’ll lose a fair few players like Thomas & Perry - Which will leave us us fairly short on experienced cover at the back. I’m sure teams will come sniffing around Lallana / Morgan / Lambert etc. So hopefully we can hold onto them – They are going to be vital cogs in our promotion machine next season. I’m curious to see what our policy will be in the summer in terms of recruitment. Pard’s says he wants to build a team that can do well in the championship – So can we expect a few marquee Lambert/Fonte-esque signings?
  24. Kenny Jackett just won manager of the month...
  25. - A striker with pace if we don't sign Papa. (Simeon Jackson) - Tough tackling midfielder able to pass, and dictate play (Therry Racon) - Centre Back & Right Back to replace Thomas/Perry if they go. (No idea at the mo) - Attacking midfielder able to play in numerous attacking positions, with pace, goal scoring & passing ability (Neil Danns)
