  1. Alot is going to depend on how many players we have left. We have to assume that Saga/John/Rasiak/McG are going to go. If Euell / Bwp leave, we'll be left with just Patterson & White as strikers. Not too mention our midfield is probably going to lose Surman, Lallana & Schneiderlin too!
  2. Agreed 100%. Look at any club owner in the prem. The appointment of a quality manager makes all the difference. (See Gibson/Ashley)
  3. Anyone remember in the echo, a few weeks ago, that they were reporting that the 'mystery overseas' bidders had actually been in discussions with Pinnacle about pooling they're resources? Wonder what came of that.
  4. Can anyone clear this one up for me? - If the deal goes through - Will there still be a mortgage on the stadium? Or will that have been swept up as part of the deal?
  5. An earlier Echo report had the Pinnacle investors being 'local property developers'. But we know that a couple of the original members of the consortium dropped out... So not sure how many are left within the consortium now.
  6. Rumour I hear is that Tommac is behind the Irish bid. (No joke)
  7. LOVE the clubcall memories! - I used to phone it! - What a loser! Anyway, I digress. The fact that Pinnacle were Fry's preferred bidders, shows you how crap the others probably are.
  8. Yeah, but how long will it take for Pinnacle & The overseas people to reach an agreement on a prospective pooling of resources?! - Time we don't have!
  9. Could Jackson/Green be brokering a deal for Lowe to come back?
  10. Not a consortium. The solent report said that they understand a multi-millionaire businessman would buy the stadium, and lease it back to the club, should the new owners not want the stadium as part of they're bid. (That's how I heard the report at 8.20am).
  11. So this is NOT the Canadian group then?
  12. Whoa! Weird timing! Morph got in there just before me!
  13. Who's the Asian guy on the right hand-side? (Just behind John Mortimer)
  14. Kevin Davies vs Everton @ Goodison live on SKY... Picked ball up from the half-way line & ran through everyone!
  15. They'll always be people interested. It happens everytime a club comes up for sale - It's how many of them actually have the cash to do a deal is the most important thing.
  16. It'll be Crouch & Fulthorpe.
  17. They'll be a ton of people interested in the club. Unfortunately, none of them will have the finances to match they're promises.
  18. My thoughts exactly. I can't believe our squad depth for fullbacks for the last 3 years. Shocking. (Crazy i know, but i REALLY would've kept hold of Jermaine Wright for this season).
  19. There are some amazing one nippers out there... Welbeck from Utd? Vela from Arsenal? Sears from West Ham? Delfouneso from Villa? Probably end up with another Pekhart.
  20. If BWP's going - Perhaps we can afford Dyer's wages now.
  21. If it's anything like FM - Man City get 50% of the fee - The plus is, we get 8k a week off our wage bill.
  22. All the best, Ed. Your in my thoughts.
  23. We love slating our strikers here don't we? He's our top scorer, and without him - We'd be a lot worse off. BTW - Merrington said on commentary how good he was a defending corners tonight.
  24. How many loan players can a club have? Football manager law states 4 longterm, and 4 shorterms. Think we've had 7 so far this season. CORK, GASMI, PEKHART, ROBERTSON, SMITH, PEARCE, SAEIJS
