I could see us perhaps making a move for him if Morgan kicks up a fuss about leaving again in January.

I loved Le Tiss' goal in this game. Always thought it was quite underrated. He did a hell of a lot in a very small amount of time & space.

Players that shouldn't have left Saints.....

I agree totally. He used to own the left hand side of St Mary's at times. He was a joy to watch. Too much, too soon. -
How many assists has he had this season?

Just over 21k

I was driving home the other day thinking about the 1st match we played this season against Millwall. From memory, I think we now have in our starting eleven, FIVE new players from that day. Trotman, Jaidi, Hammond, Waigo, Lambert. Four of those are down the spine of the team. Shows the difference they've made.
-
I was concerned... But having people like Curbishley, Coppell & Strachan being out of work eases my fears, somewhat.

Nice breakdown shurlock, thanks for posting that. Great win yesterday lads. Things are looking up. MK Don's will almost certainly pose us some serious problems. I think our new found 'team of giants' are perfect for this league. Their only weakness is being outdone for pace (Bristol Roves game). Something which MK Don's have lots of.

Great result boys. Solent were doing a feature where you had to txt in to say who's been AP's best signing so far... There wasn't one particular favourite choice - Trotman, Lambert, Harding, Hammond all got multiple votes - That in itself tells you how well we're currently shaping up.

Here's the latest I found on Vokes/Coventry. http://www.expressandstar.com/2009/10/01/vokes-loan-move-delay-goes-on/

Perhaps a sign that Saga is on the out's? On paper, you'd have Saga scoring for fun in this league. Ideally, i'd love to see a striker with some serious pace come in on loan, but can't think of any. So with that being said, Sam Vokes would get my pick.
-
Agreed. Especially in defence!
-
Lallana/Mills/Holmes in front of him. Makes sense to me.
-
He's talking about loans... Thomson & Gobern I'd imagine.
-
Heard on the radio yesterday that we've only won 5 times in this calendar year. Teriffic.
-
I'd go for:- Davis Thomas Trotman Perry Harding Mellis James Hammond Mills Lallana Lambert If you start with Pato & Lambo upfront, you leave yourself with d*ck all attacking options if you want to change things up front. (Or if you get an injury)

Burley was never going to work out as Scots Boss. His supposed strengths were getting teams to play attractive football, and using his scouting network to bring in decent foreign players. Neither were going to be beneficial to the Scots. They need someone who will get them organised, and fight tooth and nail to grind out a win. Not quite sure how he landed the job to be honest.
-
I can't argue with any of that. Mellis was the only signing that didn't stand out as being an obvious fit into our system. Murty/Harding/Jaidi/Trotman/Lambert/Hammond probably all would've done a job for us last season. Still a little worried about Saga & Morgan's mind-set. If Saga goes, we'll still be short up front.
-
2 from Craddock/Sharp/Jackson (Let's be honest, Saga will go as well).
-
Pahars or Camara?

Listen again. Tuesday, 1 hour in. http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/mayo.shtml

Well, i imagine AP will make another move for that 'younger' striker that he considered a move for prior to going for Rickie Lambert. (Probably either Craddock, or *hopefully* Jackson at Gillingham

Will the move be PERManent?

Completely missed this earlier today... More talk from Pards, praising Lloyd James, as well as confirming that Holmes is going no-where (as mentioned in another thread). http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4559514.Saints_still_finding_their_feet_at_home/
