Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Not sure if we’re choosing to release him -
It’s only been a week
-
Surprised West Ham didn’t go in.
-
Indeed! (Lingard would be a bloody good signing, though)
-
Thank god we spent more on Ings than we did Carrillo.

Broja article in The Athletic (Chelsea perspective)

We’re going through our archetypal transfer window tick boxes: • Scottish wonder-kid ✅ • Ligue 1 unknown ✅ • Highly rated domestic wonder-kid(s) ✅ • Serie A/B unknown ✅
-
Done ✅
-
Absolutely guaranteed for us to be linked with a Scottish wonder-kid every transfer window that we never sign. He’s a right-back, BTW. Def remember us being linked with him.
-
There’s a few available this summer including Dembele at Celtic.
-
Attacking midfield or wide.
-
Cheers. I know for a fact we wanted him a while ago but also know LOTS of clubs do as well.
-
How reliable is Dean Jones?
-
The goal last night was a great little finish. The fact he’s playing for the B team has a first year is pretty spectacular.
-
Yeah, one of the few who is legit too good for the B team.
-
Correct. Tremendous win. Only Fulham's 2nd loss.

If we’re looking for a centre-back in the summer to loan from our buddies Chelsea… (local lad, too).
-
Chelsea will sit with their cigar out until the summer. It’s the smart thing to do.

Another loan spell at Southampton unlikely for Broja beyond the summer Armando Broja has established himself as one of Southampton’s most important players since he joined on a season-long loan from Chelsea in the summer, writes Dan Sheldon. The striker has scored five Premier League goals in 17 appearances, of which only nine have been starts, making him Ralph Hasenhuttl’s second top league scorer behind James Ward-Prowse (six goals). Hasenhuttl said on Thursday that talks are taking place between Martin Semmens, Southampton’s club’s chief executive, and Marina Granovskaia at Chelsea over Broja’s future. Although Southampton’s supporters are desperate for the 20-year-old to stay beyond the end of this season, The Athletic is led to believe that another loan move is unlikely. As it stands, the most probable outcome is Broja leaves on a permanent transfer in the summer or fights for a starting spot at Chelsea. Broja is thought to be enjoying his time at Southampton and has developed a good relationship with Hasenhuttl, which puts them in a good position if they are willing to jump over the required hurdles and push hard to prise him away from Chelsea.

Will Burnley bother to turn up? Did you see Watford’s game after that is Friday against Norwich.
