  1. Yep, sorry, but havn't got much sympathy. I live in Newcastle and only go to the Northern Away games. I bought an MK Dons home ticket which is still unopened in the envelope. I had no intention of ever going to the match but £20 didn't seem like much to get 2nd priority...
  2. The 3rd goal was really bad, Bell-endhaj didn't even want to score, it was a bit like Parks goal for Man U v Ars last week. If he passes it and they tap it in fair enough... But you should always go to close down the ball...
  3. Well, last team that won the FA Cup tie got relegated from Premier League I'd settle for that. If we'd taken the lead, we would have won that game easily... Just maybe bit of naiveity at 1-1 cost us. At least Tyldsley gave us the credit we deserved. I know which team I'd rather support at this moment...
  4. By 'Headline' sponsor does that mean the back of the shirt is still on offer? My Girlfriend while watching the Wolves game on Sky couple of seasons ago: "Is that team all brothers?" "Which team?" "The team your playing..." "No, why?" "Well they're all called Chaucer..." FFS!
  5. A good idea for those who don't like queing / or holding on the phone is to FAX the ticket office 0870 2200179. That way, you can get all your linked friends customer numbers tickets at the same time. The only downside is that you don't know you've got a ticket till it lands on the doormat. (Or check your customer history online to see if the sale went through.) Its a slightly risky stategy, but it worked for me in big games like the Wolves 6th Round and both the Derby PO games
  6. Its based on average attendences (or some similar system). Now, Leeds average attendence is not much more than ours: Leeds: 25,089 Saints: 20,600 (Sauce: League Paper 17/01/10) But obviously Leeds have a lot more to come out the woodwork. Carlisle don't - 25,000 max I'd reckon. We need Leeds to put the pressure on to make sure we get a big allocation too. If Carlisle get there we will not get as many tickets. Trust me.
  7. Its just that Leeds have the bigger club bargain power. From what I understand, Luton were begging for more tickets last year, even though they got what S*****horpe couldn't sell AND STILL the whole stadium wasn't used. We could say: "OK Leeds, push for the whole stadium and if you think you'll sell 40,000 - we'll match it"
  8. Honestly, we want Leeds. I hate em but Leeds 50,000 vs saints 40,000 If its Carlisle they will close the upper tiers to save money and it'll be: Saints 35,000 v Carlisle 25,000
  9. I was gonna fly down from Newcastle (its only £80ish return) Can't risk it now. Getting in the home end should be ok - you can even wear your shirt - just stick a piece of black tape over the badge;)
  10. Sheff Utd at Crystal Palace in '02 I remember Sheff Utd had a big fat bloke in goal... I went mental when Harry Wood scored the equalizer late on. My dad wouldn't let me go to the replay:smt085
  11. Yep, not at all surprised, we all knew he'd be a dreadfull manger for Scotland. Scotland are and always will be sh*t. All the praise Smith and McLeish got was undeserved. They bottled that Georgia away game when they just needed a result to qualify. Only Scotland could take 6 points off their nearest rivals and still **** it up.
  12. Yep 3-1 and we were in striking distance of Forest. Its a good job we were down anyway, cos missing pens in those circumstances is inexcusable. If he stays, I want 25+ goals from him next season till I forgive him.
  13. Not the first time either. I think you should take them 'till you miss. If you miss - you don't take again. I remember the MLT days where you never worried about penalties. How many we missed this season? 4 at least.
  14. Bristol Rovers Carlisle (if they stay up and only if you come in numbers!) Hartlepool Peterboro (if they stay down) Yeovil
  15. I live in Newcastle. I'm looking forward to Hartlepool and praying that Carlisle stay up!
  16. The dude is on Talk Sport talking about us exploiting another loophole. You'd expect Ian Wright to be on our side due to BWP but he seems entirley not bothered (the dude is joking at him to stay awake).
  17. Leeds still made the Play Offs in their 1st season in League 1 with the -15 Penalty. So it is possible. 4 games to wipe off a -10.
  18. Can you put the Charlton fixtures back so we know what we have to do to avoid finishing bottom?
  19. Er, I live in Newcastle and the general consensus up here (from the fans and the local media) is that he was a decent coach who would never step up as manager. Of course, his sole game in charge was a 6(?)-1 drubbing at Man U. Er, how many games did he win in charge? It was only about 4 or something. Leicester did well cos decent players like Oakley and Howard were prepared to slum it in League 1 for a season. Probably still on decent money with Mandaric. They got lucky with Fryatt who scored a shi*tload. DMG will do same for us. Apart from that - You, me or your Gran in charge would have got the same result. Not being harsh on NP 'cos I like the guy - but I fu**in' hate Leicester with a passion and wish nothing but ill on them.
  20. LOL at Tyldsley: "Saints preserved!! (Cuts to shot of toddler on Dad's back) And suddenly the future looks a whole lot brighter!"
  21. Forest will say no I bet. IMO that 2,100+ should have gone by now. I'm only a member, but I expect to get one Wed morning, easy. If Forest give us the 4,000+ and we are already down, we will never get rid of them.
  22. The Norwich v Reading game is on the monday. Same situation as our West Brom game last year. They will know what they need.
  23. I'm just worried a la the Derby, Coventry, Sheff Wed games that the oppo shows nothing until they go a goal down: Decide to wake up and promptly equalize
  24. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
