Portugal v Croatia was a pretty dire game but I thought Jose and Cedric where good overall against a decent side in Croatia. Still think we can get more out of Cedric than we did last season.

I think football fans have to get used to the idea that £11 million is now chump change in the PL even average players are going to start at £15 million in a season or two. Having said that I've always rated Redmond so I'm pretty up beat about this signing I think we can get more out of him than Norwich.

His agent wants a 125k a week allegedly. also offering him a nice big contract and letting him leave next summer hardly seems worth it given he will miss the middle of next season at AFCON.

No one is suggesting Joe Allen as Victors replacement but he is a good player who could do a job better than JWP or Clasie.

Yeah but he was being chased by us, Stoke and West Brom so we may have had to go above the 8 million release clause to secure him.

the club cant work on system of just throwing money at every player who wants to leave and once we do I for one player the others will want the same treatment......their agents will have a field day.

Vardy chose to stay and sign a new contract just like VVD, Forster, JWP and Davis did recently. It's really not that ****ing hard to understand people if players are happy to stay and sign new contracts we keep them if they don't want to stay we cash in. Players like Clyne and Victor were offered new contracts and didn't want to sign them.

I think he is a decent player and what 24 years old seems like a younger Steven Davis.

You mean he won't go until next summer.... I'm damn sure if Mane told the club I'd love to stay they'd sign him up to a new contract but I'm guessing he hasn't. So what do people want keep him two more seasons and watch him walk for nothing, keep him another season and sale for 10 million next season, sale him now for 35 million and re-invest in the team. Which ever way you play it Mane still leaves people....

If the rumours are true about Morgan being told he has no future at Man U I think the club should pull out all the stops to get him back here. Weather Morgan would come back is open to debate but the club should at least give it a go.

Well if we are going to point out the faults of our players it would be only polite to point out that the incredible Mane didn't score a league goal between Liverpool away and Liverpool at home about 3 and half months and was in fact bloody awful during that time.....
