Didn't look overly injuried I assumed it was tactical (he didn't look to happy about it either) though if NA is saying he was injuried I believe him. Though why, after Rickie went off, Kelvin was persisting in pinging long balls at 5ft nothing barney was a mystery to me.

Have to disagree doesn't anyone want to see saints win a league title? I hated coming second to Brigton last season. Really the idea of football is to win stuff like cups and titles not to come second.
-
Well that's saved me some typing pretty much spot on assement of the game from were I was sitting in the chapel. Have to say I was impressed by Hull they played some nice football and unlike Posh and Brighton didn't let going down to 10 men stop them having a go. Felt we could have made the extra man count a bit more (did no one see Lee holmes stood all on his own in acres of space?) to make the last bit of the game a little less stressful but a good win well pleased.

Home school .... or as I heard the other day an aquatince is going to world school were they plan to take their children around the world putting them in schools all over the world to get a broader education...................... -
I blame football............

The irony being if most British people go far enough back in the family tree they'll probably find immigrants in their own family.

Who said racism didn't exsist here? every country in the world has racism to one degree or another. Rascists don't only live in Britian you know? So why should anyone be ashamed to be British becuase this country has it's fair share of ill educated morons. It's almost like it's fashionable to hate our own country while imagining the rest of the world aren't like us. Britian isn't perfect by any means but she's not all bad either. I'm proud to be British and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
-
He's not half as bad as people make out. I think he would have done alright for us if we'd kept him in league 1.............but I wouldn't want him at saints now we've moved on to a better class of player.

Maybe she was just worried about food hygeine, or did she make the point that if the hands had been white it would have been alright? Sadly it's all about up bringing alot of older people were brought up in time were things that aren't considered acceptable now were consider the norm so while not suggesting it's ok I can understand it. No doubt the woman in the OP video was brought up to hate by her parents and will pass the hate on to her kid. Rascism isn't just a British disease though.
-
Yeah I thought the same thing. Just becuase we have some nobs in our society doesn't make me ashamed to be British. I can't imagine there is a country in the world that doesn't have it's fair share of scum like this woman. I think we sometimes make the mistake of thinking that only Britain has rascists, ultra right groups and criminals living in it. I have no doubt, sad as it is, she is a product of her up bringing no doubt that little kid on her lap is soaking it up like a sponge.

It's hardly either it's more to do with people wanting to know why the public sector think they shouldn't have to make sacrfices like everyone else? If they want my support forcing me to shell at money I can't really afford on childcare just before christmas while depriving my children (who no doubt will have to work much latter in life for a lot less) of a days education, paid for out of my tax isn't really the right way to do it. -

yep of course it is, the whole country should have just got jobs as teachers and civil servants. -
If your going to do the personal stuff on your CV what ever you do don't put down under hobbies "socializing with the lads". I'm amazed how many CVs I have had over the years with that (or variations of) on them. Now granted I have no problem with people having a drink and laugh but I always just imagine somone who is going turn up late and hungover to work on a frenquent basis and usual dimiss them out of hand. It's also amazing how many hobbies people lie about on CVs. Probably doesn't seem that important but I like to use the personal stuff as an Ice breaker in interviews. "So you like reading? tell me about the last book you read?" "what?! erm eerrr I can't really remember" doesn't go down well.

Bristol City vs Saints Extended "Highlights"
doddisalegend replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
ummm I wonder how many people are desperate to see extended highlights? Two minutes of the bbc highlights were bad enough.. Plus highlights suggests something good wouldn't extended low lights be more accurate? -
Shouldn't we wait until after the game tommorrow first?.....if we lose we can all go mental and start claiming 17th as a good season....

 yep last easter holidays was only our second ever family holiday and my eldest is ten. Always amazes me that the school where my wife works parents can't afford £10.00 for a school trip but can afford to take their kids out of school for two weeks to go to some Spanish resort. -

Or maybe all the private sector workers could get a days tax back seeing as the services they paid for won't be forthcoming that day..... -

My wife is a primary school teacher in a deprived area she won't strike becuse she doesn't want the kids in her classes education to suffer (her words). -
4th blimey! I struggle to keep up with two...football matches, ballet lessons, parties, school events the list never ends.....love it though
-
Corky has been very good for us. Only time I think I've seen him struggle was the game where he had to slot in at RB not his postion and he didn't look comfortable. In the middle of the pitch though he is class.

Dare I say we already have one of those at the club if only the management and him could patch things up..... Tin hat on
