The beeb and the papers have it down as Lambert's goal. The beeb also has Lambert down as top scorer in the league with 14 goals. However the football league site has Lambert down as scoring 13 goals in the league. I think our first goal on saturday took a deflection so did it count as an OG or did it go down as Lambert's goal? I would love Rickie to be top scorer in the champ come the end of the season.

So we have Bart, Tommy Forecast or our youth keeper against the skates (if KD doesn't recover)......Despite yesterday I'd still rather have Bart than the other two options.......

I didn't think they looked tired today. According to Nigels programme notes Prozone stats show we are the fitest team in the champ. Quite a lot of teams look leggy against us late on in game while we seem quite fresh IMO.

Exactly. Any player not playing often is going to get rusty it would most likely happen to any second choice keeper we have who isn't getting regular reserve games.

Look Bart is a reserve keeper I don't understand why people think all our back up players are going to be better than our first choices and are just going to step straight into first choice players shoes and play like a legend after little or no game time. Maybe if we had a reserve team playing competative games week in week out it would help...

I read in todays matchday programme interview with Rickie that he hardly ever practices free kicks anymore as trainning is dedicated to passing the ball and free kicks aren't part of trainning. Apparently he is not happy at how many goals he is scoring from free kicks. Might be worth letting him practice a few free kicks Nige....

Right so our reserve keeper who hardly ever plays turns out to be a bit rusty and makes some mistakes. Thus we should get rid of him and replace him with a top quality reserve keeper who won't play much and will probably be rusty and mistake prone when he finally does play...........excellent plan

Holy sh it are the game threads normally like this one? Normally I only do the post match ones is it normal for people to start declaring the season is over and we're doomed with third of a match to go? As for the game we were much better than Blackpool (something the match stats backup) basically we went down to a poorly defended goal and one of those 1 in a 1000 keeper fu ck ups. With better finishing we could have won that game by several goals. Other than Matt Phillips (no 23) Blackpool weren't up to much at all. Bart didn't have a great game though he is much faster at getting the ball out with purpose than Kelvin but what do people expect he barely ever plays. Can't believe people are calling for his head after one (admitedly a bad one) mistake if we get rid of every player who fu cks up we'd have no team in a few weeks. Had to laugh at the Kevin Phillips abuse "stand up if you've slept with his wife"..................ouch Oh and the ref and linos were awful. They were just to one sided. Saints player tackles it's a foul Blackpool player same tackle no foul, blackpool player controls with his hand nothing 2 mins later ball hits saints players hand free kick. Plus his constant blowing up every 2 mins made it hard for us to get any flowing football going. To sum up we were much better than Blackpool deined 3pts by a freak keeper fu ck up................... Good thing West sham are chokers....

I don't get the Fox love. I'm not saying Harding is the best LB ever and he makes mistakes but he still looks better than Fox to me. I think Fox crossed the halfway line with purpose once today other than didn't offer much going forward, defensively he sit off players far to much for me and when he is out of postion I'd like to see him sprinting back to help out the CBs not ambling back like he doesn't have a care in the world... Harding isn't perfect but he offers more than Fox IMO.

Could we not pick someone else? Personally I've only visited three European (well technically four as Germanay was split in two at the time though I visited both halves) countries didn't like Fance much, Germany was better (but the food sucked), I much prefered the Netherlands myself can we not ignore the French and Germans and hang out with the Dutch who are really nice people in my experince.
