Found this website not exactly scientific but it attempts to rank countries by military power http://www.globalfirepower.com/ The UK is ranked 5th in the world Argentina is ranked 31st in the world Ultimatly as long as the British goverment has the political will I can't see how Britian can end up losing to Argentina in a war over the islands we have a bigger navy, airforce and army with better equipment (despite all the cutbacks) than Argentina has (whose military is smaller now than it was in the last war). Argentina knows it as well. The last war showed that the UK has the political will to keep the islands, the last war was fought becuase the Argentinan goverment at the time thought the UK wouldn't fight to get the islands back. I can't see Argentina invading any time soon it won't stop them posturing for home consumption though.

Still rather take Adomah of them and get Sharp.......either way though no chance we spend 6 million on him, but then I imagine bristol city will have to take what they can get or get nothing in a few months anyway.

All I can recall is after his first game for Millwall he said it was nice to have a manager who appreciated him. I don't think there was any problem with his team mates more an issue between him and NA.

It seems mad that we have a good player already on the books, who could be doing a good job for us. not being used. Surely what every caused the break down between the player and club enough time has gone past that that Puncheon should be given a second chance.

Well guerilla warfare requires certain things like places to hide and a decent sized population to provide logistics and support....not sure the falklands has the right circumstances for guerilla warfare being an island doesn't give you many places to run after the hit.....

There are aren't any.... having read this forum it's clear we need at least 22 new players two for every postion (ideally the second player in each postion being better than 1st teamer) if we hope to achieve anything.......

We were much better than Blackpool any other day without Barts nightmare and the awful ref blowing up for evey little thing we would have won that game. Ehhhh??? can't say I was very misreable after the Blackpool game coming from behind in the 93rd minute to stay unbeasten at home this season (after a nightmare by our keeper) left me feelling pretty happy. Same with the Pompey match would have loved a win but a point away from home is always a good point in this league I reckon (especially with our home form)

Except we tried that in the last war with little actual effect with the black buck raids I suppose the argies could try a pebble island style raid on the airstrip at Mount Pleasant but I wouldn't give them much chance (even then pebble island was about destroying aircraft not the airstrip )

The turbo props are Pucara developed for COIN operations so the full argie airforce of combat planes if they are all operational is 41 mostly Mirage and Lockheed Martin A-4AR Fightinghawks. Hardly state of the art. The UK has 80 odd typhoons with anthor 80 on order and 136 tornados...even a small portion of that deployed to the islands on top of the typhoons already there should be enough to put the Argies off unless they are completely nuts (which they aren't)

So Guly's workrate (attempts on goal) is twice that of Sharp's......... I'm not suggesting for one miniute I wouldn't want Sharp. I'm merely pointing out Guly came to us as an attacking midfielder and has been forced to play out wide and as a striker and he has still notched up seven goals and by the looks of it has managed to get himself into a postion to shoot 45 times (not bad for a lazy f ucker). The only thing that matters is he is getting goals I really don't mind if he runs around looking bored if he is getting into postions to shoot and putting a decent number away while playing out of postion thats good enough for me.

He plays like that every game if he'd put his two chances away everyone would be creaming themselves over him right now. I think people neeed to except that guly will always look a bit dis-intrested and make a few **** passes but he will also get goals (7 so far is more than some teams strikers and only two behind Billy Sharp that everyone wants to sign) which is what counts.

yes he has really set the king power staduim alight with his goal scoring poweress hasn't he... other than a few seasons with Leeds in league 1 he hasn't been much more than average else where has he?

You've got to question his commitment though apparently he has had offers but prefered to stay about fouth choice in the man city pecking order rather than play regular football. That says to me his passion for the game isn't really there. I'd rather have a more limited player like Harding he gives his all than a better one who couldn't give a ****.

I think Celtic have something like 14 defenders (some out on loan) on their books so there is no reason to believe that Jos would have been recalled (Lennon didn't seem to have any time for him). Having said that glad we got Jos on board.

I have no doubt we will add a player (prehaps two) but four including a new keeper not a chance......
