Depends on the game and the opposition surely? As NA says it's a squad game what works well for one game might not for the next game. Deano and Morgan both have strengths is up to NA to play to those strengths as he sees fit. I don't think Cork is a first name on the team sheet player either we only have one of those and that's Lambert.

I don't think we're the sort of club to do last minute deals these days. My gut feeling is we won't see anyone else in before the deadline. Still we've brought in, on paper at least, two decent new players as well as bringing a decent player back into the fold. Injuried players are coming back into contention and one ot two of the youth guys have played and not embarressed themselves so all in all I'm not to worried. A CB on loan to cover the injuries at the back would be good ......but I'm not holding my breath.

I heard loads of saints songs from my garage (thanks to solent) far more than you could hear the Millwall fans.

Monday night is a s hit time to hold a football match which is why less people turn up If it had been at 3.00 on a saturday I'm sure there would have been a lot more fans at SMS. The great thing is if we get back to the PL we can look forward to lots more stupid f ucking fixtures at crap times on crap days.

If there is one thing I'm certain off it is despite the hot air on here not one poster has any idea what NC does and doesn't do or what he does or doesn't think... not a f ucking clue. All we have around here is alot of assumptions.... My assumption is it's in his best interests to get saints to the PL.....without bankrupting us On a totally different subject how long does it take to get my full membership staus back.......you've taken my money. Whats the point of having an automatic renewal payment if I have to become registered user for a week........ these f ucking adverts are doing my head in....I never realised there where so many good looking single birds just waiting to meet me...

Not really bothered. I've got way to many things to spend money on to be able to drop a lot of money on clothes just becuase of the label,generally buy whats on sale ....or failing that Matalan or Asda. Having said that I do like to wear DM boots......always have

Nothing pedantic about it we are not paying 6 million for a PL striker that is a fact (doesn't mean he couldn't be). Lambert wasn't a champ striker until this season (I had faith he could make the step up) but at 800K he wasn't a massive finicial gamble. 6 million is a lot of money for no track record in the PL we're not Liecester. We've done very well packing our team with well brought players (even free agents) at good prices it's a policy I would be happy for the club to continue. People seem to assume big money automatically means great player it doesn't.

Except he has never played in the PL so we're not paying for a PL striker he is no more a PL striker than Rickie Lambert is at the moment. We're paying for an unkown quantity as far as Hooper and the EPL is concerened I have no problem taking a punt on up coming players or good players from poor leagues (like the SPL) in fact I'd prefer it to shelling out of the odds for proven players. However if we can get the likes of Jack Cork, Lambert, and Chaplow for less the a million I can't see why we need to gamble 6 million on Hooper.

That's more to do with some fans reading a newspaper rumour and then taking it as gospel it's going to happen then when it doesn't....they get all angry. Hudders want to get to the championship they're hardly struggling for money... so by my reckoning they won't part with their star player... unless there is stupid money involved (same situation with hooper at Celtic) Look at this way we're in with a chance of promotion to the PL how much money would it take for another club to to take Lambert off us..... Huddersfield and Celtic feel the same way. The only club looking to off load a star striker is Bristol City in attempt to get some money before he leaves in the summer.

Actually I'm pretty sure we upset most of league 1 at some point over the two seasons mostly by daring to be better than most of the teams in that league and having the nerve to have crowds of more than 5K............. making us billy big ********

The first season they did the Bristol Clubs becuase I remember they did a fastest shot contest and Chris Lines won the Brizzile Rovers contest looked at the camera and said something like " I still won't beat Rickie Lambert". Pretty sure Plymouth were in it from the start to. Brighton wasn't in the first series and neither was Pompey as they were in the PL.

The first season with Jonathan Pearce as presenter was pretty good. The little challenges and player interviews around the local clubs were good fun. The bloke they've got doing it now has all the charisma of a dead fish and the format is now pretty Meh. Still it's better to have something local than nothing at all........I think

No doubt a dodgy meeting under Itchen bridge involving Harry and some of NCs Sicilian contacts and a brown envelope were involved.......

Saints..... we're in the driving seat (and have been for most of the season) if we fail it will be our own doing......no point worrying about the others

God knows how much abuse Hooper will get if he comes here for 7.5 million and fails to score at least a hattrick ever game....

Which is why we are the top scorers in the league and have two players in the top three of top scorers in the league.........

He didn't want to play saints either TBF maybe he just likes being a big fish in a small pond (or has totally over the top contract demands)
