  1. This time by calling in the support of a famous (sort of) US actor...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-17022603 It seems that the Film Actors Guild (F.A.G.) is alive and kicking...........time to call team America:D
  2. Got a feeling will do to West ham what we did to Norwich a couple of seasons back and play them off the park for a very good win. I mean the players have got to be up for this game tonight haven't they?
  3. He's just gone out on loan to Oxford so probably not............
  4. How do you know the championship was a step to far? how many miniutes of champ football has he actually played this season, I remember him scoring a cracking goal earlier in the season. Lee's biggest problem seems to be he is made of glass rather than his ability. Hopefully he can stay fit and get some games. I imagine his inability to stay fit for any length of time has done for his saints career rather than his ability to do a job for us on the field.
  5. Eeehhh really? Even under AP you could see he had class. His main problem wasn't laziness it was the fact that until he joined us he had had lower league coaching and been allowed to get away with poor diet and less than 100% fitness. As soon as he joined saints AP pointed out his fitness and diet problems. The boy already had class and skill he just needed better fitness and coaching to turn him from good to brilliant.
  6. I think Puncheon and Adam showed how good they can be against Birmingham, even in the snow, they were running rings around them (shame our strikers didn't want to shoot). Now take out the snow and imagine how good they could be with firm footing underneath. Guly had a great game on the right saturday but for me he really is better up front or just behind the strikers...I remember reading an interview with him in the matchday programme were Guly said he prefered to play central and didn't think out wide was his best postion.
  7. Me too. I reckon there isn't a team in the division who are going to be able to stop us with an on form Lallana and Puncheon playing on each wing (baring a snow storm of course) and swapping back and forth. Add Lambert and sharp up front and that has got to be enough to give any teams defence nightmares.
  8. I've sat everywhere but the Northam, though mostly I'm a Chapel ender, never heard any rascism either. I'm sure it goes on in a crowd of 25,000 people there's bound to be a few racists.
  9. Is this the 4th season in a row where Lambert has scored 20+ goals (I'm sure his goal against Millwall was his 20th this season all comps)? I can't believe no one else took a chance on him before us. The guy is amazing his all round game is fantastic he has got to be one of the best bits of business saints have ever done.
  10. Personally I would have prefered Guly to have moved up front and brought Puncheon on to the right. Though in fairness Conolloy did cause them some problems and did played better than he has in a long time.
  11. I can't agree I'm constantly amazed how much space Fox likes to give opposition wingers he seems to like to make sure there is always 6ft between him and the oppostion player. Running away from the oppostion isn't the best way of defending maybe Cork can give him some lessons on how to tackle.
  12. Guly played well today his first touch can be poor but he worked hard and kept it simple for a very good performance today. I still don't think right wing is his best postion, I'd rather see the drive and pace of Puncheon there now he is back on the bus, I still think Guly would be best playing in behind the strikers. Reckon Nigels going to have lots of selection headaches for the rest of the season. The problem is we've now got a lot of good players (when they're at there best) and not enough space in the match day team for all of them.
  13. Great performance. Should have been a lot more than 2-0 but the Burnley keeper played very well today to keep the score down. Sharp looks very good, very different type of player to Lambert, like a better version of Barney. Some great runs but the ball never quite sat up from him. From where I was sat in the Chapel his goal looked more like an own goal but I'm sure he will take it. Lambert and Lallana were just fantastic today If those two are playing well I doubt there is a team in the divison who can cope with us. Special mention to Jack Cork totally bossed the mid field with his energy and skill. LOL at the Refs tackle on the Burnley Player far better than some of his descions WHU game is massive now play like we did today and we will carve them up.
  14. He's just been given a new contract though so Reading must rate him....don't see any champ teams lining up to take Dickson.....
  15. I would suggest the mistake was bringing in Dickson in the first place and letting Mills go. Mills is now a regular in a top championship team while Dickson is league one level at best. Harding can be hit or miss but he is heads and shoulders above Dickson.
  16. I'm pretty sure that's a myth and it was actually Ian Harte who is now being replaced by Fish Mills (just signed a new contract) at Reading. Mills being another saints LB who was better than Dickson;)
  17. Sorry did we send them Harding?..........Dickson you say, seems to me we've had the last laugh then..........
  18. No it doesn't without context it means nothing. They've got assits in a team with two of the leagues top scorers diiferent strikers up front and they might not have any assits. It's a chicken and egg thing. Are they great footballers and the reason our strikers are scoring so much or are our strikers the dogs with the class to put balls away which makes them two of the top assit players? Anyway as a mod have you got any idea how come I'm still only a regiserterd user 20 days after saintweb took my £5.00 I tried the contact us thingy and still no one has got back to me or sorted out my membership. It's pretty hard getting by on three posts a day.
  19. Surely those assits have to be taken in context of how many free kicks/ corners/ or crosses the two players have made. For example if Fox has got seven assits from say ten crosses/corners/free kicks that is extremly impressive if it's seven out of say 100 then it's pretty poor. Also would be interesting to know if most of those assits came early in the season when we were scoring for fun. Prehaps the lack of decent delivery in recent weeks can help to explain our slump in form.
  20. No matter how poor Harding is, and he was poor last night, Dickson is worse shouldn't get anywhere near the first team he was poor in league 1 FFS (as opposed to Harding who was LB of the season). Noticable that Lallana played well yesterday with Harding behind him. Also funny how Harding is now sh it yet a few weeks back playing at RB everyone was banging on how well he did. Lets face it all defenders have games were they just end up facing a player who is better than them last night that was Harding up against Henry.

    Adkins

Like who? after the first 30 mins most of the players played pretty well (Guly aside) some aren't even regulars or short of game time/match fitness so it'd pretty harsh to take out on any of them IMO.

    Adkins

NC has done it once with Pardew and got the result he wanted ............so he may not find the idea that stupid Personally think it would be mad to get rid of NA at the moment ........but I ain't the chairman
  23. Sorry jokes don't always work well on t'net I was just taking a cheap shot at Leicester......all that money and still a bit crap......except when playing us of course
  24. If we draw with West sham and Birmingham we will have taken fours points off both of them over the season ....pretty acceptable to me and important in the scheme of things. Being saints I expect us to do quite well againt WHU and Brum becuase we seem to raise our game for the big sides (remember Norwich two seasons ago) ...it's against the little teams like Donny ,Brizzle and Leicester we seem to struggle
  25. First off we better check that the two new boys are up to it. On paper they both look good but plenty of players have flopped after big moves so it might be a bit early to write off David and Lee. I'm still of the opinion that Barnard could do a job in this division (not sure about the PL) if he hadn't been injuried most of the season....I'm amazed how many people have written him off when he has probably played about 90mins this season.
