I feel your pain. My kids are chart junkies my youngest daughter thinks Justin Bieber is the greatest thing ever. My son seems to gravitate towards fit female singers (the saturdays, Nicole schzinger or what ever she's called and the ex Mrs Ashely Cole) not sure if it's the music or the videos he likes TBH. All my attempts to introduce them to heavy metal, grunge, neu metal and 90s indie music has fallen on deaf ears.

Swop deal for Villa on the cards?

His lack of starts even with our injuries towards the end of the season would suggest that Nigel didn't see much in him I would of thought. Never got to see enough of him to label him sh it, but the very fact we didn't see much of him tells it's own story.....
-
What is modern though? a year old? five years old? 10 years old? I haven't really bought much new music since the 90s ended.

bloody hell I was getting married and becoming a dad for the first time in 2000-2001.............. -
Spot on hence all the people who pull out at junctions when it isn't safe, cut people up at round abouts or overtake on blind corners. I've seen this behavoiur from all types of road users.
-
My Dads way of looking at it has always been that everyone else on the road be it car, bike, moped, bus or lorry is a grade A ****ing lunatic. Just expect them all to something stupid and dangerous and you'll be fine. I use a cheap 125 moped to commute and work and back and some bastard in car will try and knock my off every day having said there are plenty of mad cyclists to and most moped/motorbike riders seem to drive like they want to die.

Bloody hell, I think my wife would get a little upset. On the other hand she does say concubines should come from peoples conquered by war who the hell is Kuwait going to conquerer? I assume she'd have no problem being a concubine if someone invades kuwait then? -
We won't know until the season starts how the pricing will effect this years crowd numbers.

Funnily enough doing gardening all day for work means my own garden is a jungle. Last thing I want to do when I've got some spare time is gardening. Generally I just have a mass prune every three months and mow the lawn.

Can we stop telling every one to move to the Chapel FFS at this rate the Chapel will be packed out with the rest of SMS a bleeding waste ground of tumble weed. The family end won't actually have enough seats for families it will be full of oldies and teenagers who can't afford to sit any where else.

I hear Nigel is a big michael Jackson fan though....the lure of the chance to look at a life size statue of mikey at craven cottage may be too much.......

So reading this thread I've come to the conclusion ST holders aren't in fact loyal supporters but penny pinching free loaders. Those between 60-64 being the worst culprits, most in fact being loaded, trying to get subsidised by hard working young people. If you want saints to be succsessful you should pay through the nose and be happy to do so. Just becuase you've supported the club for years means nothing you're a customer the club owes you nothing just the same way Tescos owes you nothing for shopping there for thirty years. You must never complain about anything saints related ever. Is that about the size of it?

Irony?

No no no no. It's bad enough that next season I'm going to be cramed in like a sardine rather than spread out over half a row, with the mass influx of people looking for cheap tickets. Now you want them to sing to? How will I cope with out the nice libary like atmosphere that the chapel is famed for........... I might move to the Northam sounds like that will be a deserted waste land given the prices...
-
I'm happy as a chapel stander my ticket renewal is pretty reasonable and my nine year old is free so all good as far as I'm concerned.

I can see the arguments for leagalisation and they have fair points, however giving something as harmful as say heroin to people with addictive personalites doesn't seem like good sense either. Surely in the case of your cousin, never being exposed to drugs in the first place would have been the best thing? Like I said no easy solution I can see.
-
I'll freely admit I never really done drugs apart from Alcohol, however my brother in law was a heroin user and it wasn't pretty. Quite frankly he is lucky to be alive today, his health is shot and he put my wife and her whole family through hell. For every recreational saturday night drug user who never suffers an ill effect I'm pretty sure there are plenty of hooked junkies going through misery and putting their families through it to. I'm really not sure there is an easy way to solve the problem to be honest.

Well lets put it this way Eastleigh was con for 37 years before the untimely death of the last con MP from that point on it's been Lib Dem so I'm guessing it did matter what he got up to as far as Eastleigh was concerned. I agree though Maria Hutchings comes across as a decent person wouldn't mind her as my MP.

What do you want us to do? Go round his house and beg him to stay. Despite what they say I doubt that most players could care less about fan adoration. At the end of the day players have maybe 15-18 years to rake in as much cash as possible before they're forced to retire at 35 and live on the proceeds. Players will follow the money and secondly the glory. Others can offer more of both so we just have to accept that players will move on and there's not a thing we can do about it.

Well lets hope the next one doesn't kill thenselves while indulging in self harming, erotic strangulation, while dressed in womens underwear and doing coke then....................
