Having spent all weekend sorting out my poxy moped (air filter,new rollers, new tyres, brake pads, new V-belt) getting half way to work and having it break down on me. Having an employee sent to HR for constant short term sick time (the I don't fancy that job tommorrow syndrome) decide that instead of taking his due he'd swear at all and sundry and then do a runner in his car. This ****ing headache I've got...............

My in-laws live in Milton keynes and they don't get south today on their telly they get BBC Look East programme, so south today would be wasting their time it would seem.....

It's not usually the clubs choice TBF once a player has had their head turnned by one of the big boys there's not much that can be done. Youcan force them to stay and most likely they don't give you 100% anymore. If a club has the money you can force them to sit in the reserves but what's the point? best off getting the best money you can and getting in a player that want's to be at the club. I''m not saying thats the case with Oxo but if he ends up accidently bumping into Arsene Wenger while out for dinner their won't be much NC can do to stop him leaving

There are plenty of clubs from other countries in the CL who woundn't get close if they had to qualify via the PL. Do you reckon Schalke would have been in the CL if they had been playing in the PL? We are going to be in one of the toughest leagues in europe chances of breaking the top four would be very very slim.

I think it was more old school manager with old school ideas meets new school chairmen with different ideas. The days of the old style manager given carte blanche to run the team his way are rapidly dissappering into history, with the money involved these days managers have to get used to chairman having a much bigger say in the way things are done. It will be second nature to new younger managers but some of the older managers are still living in the 80s.

I put that more down to that clueless clown Wilkins myself. Pardew had played three league games and got four points not great but not terrible either then Wilkins comes in and in three league games (if you count MK dons) manages a total of zero points from nine if he had managed even three points we'd have been champions.

Intresting though that Connolly blames pre season but has been carrying that injury since he was at Sunderland, you have to wonder though how much of a factor pre-season really is though given how we finished this season.

Well I did say fairer not a level playing field, but the way things are going in English football the richer get richer the rest well...... and we won a trophy we weren't even in the top division when was the last time that happened?

Whats the difference between stagnating in the champ and stagnating in the PL like Bolton, Stoke or Sunderland? apart from 30 quid more a ticket (if QPR anything to go by), I still don't get the "PL is the greatest" thing. The club gets more money but it costs a whole lot more to just to stay up. Most clubs in the PL apart from maybe half a dozen are basically hoping to avoid relegation becuse they know they won't be winning it or getting a CL spot.

warring emotions - you want the club to do well but the better they do the more expensive it gets, the more expensive it gets the less you actual get to see your team play.
