  1. Which begs the question as to why he was only used once Barney was injuried? everyone keeps saying he is a class above yet by all accounts when Nigel had to choose between Barnard and Connolly (who has been fit for months allegedly) he chose Barnard.
  2. Funniest moment. I honestly can't remember which match at SMS it was. There was a game in which Jaidi made a run the whole length of the pitch passed the ball and then carried on into the box sadly he didn't score but it made me laugh, come to think of it almost everytime Jaidi uses his feet It makes me laugh............
  3. Most calamatous mistake Has to be Ryan Dickson's delusion of granduer. Just for a few seconds he thought he was playing for manU slipping a perfectly weighted pass to the opposition, the look on his face a few seconds later when the sudden realization that he was actually playing for saints and had just gifted manU a goal was a picture (not a very pretty one granted)
  4. Really? I'd be more than happy to have Harding as number one choice, plenty of champ experince, hasn't looked out of place when playing higher placed teams in the cups either. Were we going into the PL I might agree but for the champ I'd happily have Harding.
  5. Are you Barney?....... come on Lee fess up....
  6. You're making the mistake of assuming everyone goes to the football for the same reasons as you. Birds of a feather flock together, the Northam all want to stand up, sing and banter thats why they go to the Northam. The Chapel want to sit down and watch football thats why they go to the Chapel. Neithers wrong or right, but there is no point expecting others to want to do the same things as you on a saturday afternoon.
  7. In Jaidi's interview in the match day programme a few weeks back Jaidi said that Nigel has already told him he wants him to stay for another season so I imagine we will see Jaidi in the team next season.
  8. Surely atmosphere is created in part by the game? A game against local rivals is always going to create a great atmosphere, most games at the latter stages of a cup run when it looks like you might win something, beating relegation on the last day of the season or gaining promotion. These sort of games generate an atmosphere. Yeovil in mid season on a tuesday night with six away fans will always struggle to generate much atmosphere. I don't think SMS is bad for atmosphere, some games just lend themselves to a better than normal atmosphere.
  9. Ermmmm I'd rather they didn't I rather like the chapel the way it is..... I'm not sure putting all the Northam lot next to the the family area would be a good idea HTBH
  10. EH? I wasn't aware that people watching a game of football needed organization and a leader...............
  11. You must have missed the other half dozen threads that Nick has dredged up from the past the last week.............
  12. I have to say, this post is spot on
  13. I have to say, this post is spot on
  14. This^^^ at times he looks a class above other times..........not so much. Good player to have in the team although I don't like him on the wing he always looks a bit lost there.
  15. The way Oldham fans were banging on about him I was expecting a bit more I must admit, he wasn't terrible by any means, but he didn't look like the next Steive Gerrard either. Not sure I'd be that fussed if we didn't get him. On the other hand if we do sign him permently I'll except that the manager must see something in him I don't.
  16. Try and save some more money for my next season ticket. Spend more time with the wife at weekends, I'm pretty sure she already has a list of DIY jobs lined up for the summer.
  17. According to the League Managers assocation league table second only behind Sir Alex http://www.leaguemanagers.com/managers/mpl-league.html?seasonid=141&type=Season+Total&x=21&y=11 Oh and Poyet is only 5th:lol:
  18. WGS Pardew Pearson Adkins Hoddle
  19. Brighton released 6 today, I'm sure we won't far behind.
  20. I'm not sure they did matter. Looking at how the season went, the 9pts Wilkins lost are what mattered if he'd even of managed 3pts at of 9 we could have been champions. Still I agree with the sentiment I'd like us to do a pre season right for once, no need for trips abroad or any of that. Just football games with a settled side against tough (but not to tough) opposition,to build fitness and confidence.
  21. Merrington seemed to like him during the match commentery.......not sure if thats agood thing or bad. He sounded good on the radio though
  22. LOL if the MK Dons match is anything to go by he'll of shot twice in side two miniutes.
  23. So we're due a bad one then?
  24. This Will I stick with it ...erm no I'll change my mind like the wind depending on the results of the last match, just like most football fans.
  25. Statred badly got better (which probably applies to most of the team this season). I've always wondered about the captain role though as he seems very quiet on the pitch never gives the impression of being a leader, but he must have something about him as both AP and NA gave him the captaincy as did Colchester.
