yes but not the most crap player we ever had if he'd cost 500K he'd have been forgotten already it's the £20 million that makes him stand out.

In effect though he isn't being judged on ability just the fact he cost a fortune we have signed players with less footballing ability than Gudio but they cost **** all.

He isn't playing at CB though is he? he was a full back coming back from a long Injury we signed as CB cover due to ****ing up getting an actual CB in.

crap behaviour though no doubt had we gone down we would have had similar behaviour from some of our players. Doesn't sound great Barca B and a loan to a French club doesn't scream quality he also seems a bit undersized for a PL CB. So far I think this summer has gone pretty well on the transfer front but this one smacks off us trying to be cute and take a punt on potential when I'd rather we just took a good first choice CB from a decent team. Picking off the best talent from the Championship and smaller top European leagues seems like a better bet to me.

Its a short tournament we didn't need to rest players ffs. In a set up like this winning breeds momentum It would have been much better to have the 1st 11 get another game together to build partnerships and get another goal or two for Kane. Finishing the group 9 pts unbeaten would have been good for the squad to. All this trying to figure out the easiest route to the final is ridiculous because if you want to win it you are going to have to beat someone good at some point and thete aren't going to be an easy games from now on anyway.

When he isn't nailing a 1st team place ahead of the likes of Tadic and Redmond even when they where going through very poor patches of form, there is something wrong. It is easy to just put it down to manager incompetence but to me it suggests a poor attitude that rubs managers up the wrong way.
