Oh please, Slattery is not good enough for the first team, he is just slightly better at times than the very mediocre under 23 squad we have and by that I mean the ones currently outside the first team frame. He is way off ....

You have to say that you are right. Martin Hunter came over rather poorly and his whole body language was uninspiriring... Out of touch and just too old thanks.... We need fresh blood to inspire and coach the youngsters... I thought the whole piece showed an out of date complacency around a great modern facility.. The ‘lovely’ Ward Prowse was very ‘pleasant’.... As he is on the pitch really..... Yeah well, it was all a bit very nice and lovely for me..... Not exactly winner takes all ......

Definitely bring him back but not Chamberlain who is now really quite quite poor....

Well it’s funny you should say that... Should’nt professional players be taught from the age of eight how to kick with both feet???? This is another fundamental part of football coaching which is flawed... Honestly football coaching is mediocre. Incidentally we have always played players on opposite wings in forward positions too...

This goes goes straight to the heart of the problem with football..... People are brainwashed that players can only do one job on a pitch - totally untrue. The one exception being goalkeeper..... ‘Football people are ‘institutionalised’ they cannot see solutions that challenge their football ‘knowledge’ or football tradition. What is that ‘knowledge ? It is mostly Scotch Mist. They tend to repeat the same mistakes time and time again. It’s only a very few people that can truely ‘manage’ a football team and those people could manage any team or company. The aura around football management is completely misplaced.

Exactly.... This arrangement is very divisive and undermining for the Manager. A really poor decision to keep Black around. The longer he stays around the more the stink festers .... Black is holding up progress by perpetuating more of exactly the same....

It would be a mistake to misinterpret pace for skill.. Teller was fast but not a great footballer. In fact I can see why Arsenal unloaded him. Rather 'RS it in the headlights'

The problems cannot be solved with a player who is immobile. The problems are in midfield not in attack... We can't get the ball to our attackers that's the problem along with midfielders not making runs.

This was not a 'youth' match..... ! The soft peddling approach preached by some on here is the approach which is steadily getting us into a right mess... The 'everything is fine' phylosophy will and is putting us in danger of a dangerous slide. Everything is 'Evidently' not fine and dandy..... We have a dodgy keeper and and even more dodgy understudy who is in any case mostly injured, we seem to have a conceited thought in the club that we are good - we are no where near good and the direction of travel is South..... Our recruitment has been poor for a while now. Our reserves are nowhere near good enough to be near the first team and losing to a very average Champioship club reserve team only just coming out of a financial crisis... We are far too relaxed about the whole thing born out by the lethargic lack of effort and enterprise from the first team. Someone needs a rocket up their arse!

You say that, however how come there are so many bizzare unbelievable coincidences of the exactly the same mistakes being repeated from last year? That would not be possible without a common denominator or an unbelievable alignment of the stars.....

I damn well hope the players were in on Sunday! They are getting a very soft ride it seems to me. Training is too relaxed, too funny ha ha.... So we were too worn out were we! These guys need to get in the real world and fast.... That includes the bl. dy manager.....! Does anyone have a decent sized garden because Black needs to be put on gardening leave pronto...... Brings Zero, give him a potting shed and some seeds somewhere else !
