Unfortunately it is more than just odd. The continuous negativity of the trolls on this "spaz board" does nothing but turn off so many forum members. Frank does a good job in defeating the arguments of the unreasonable but you always know that the trolls will be back. Its just a pity that they dont go back under their bridges.

That really is one of the worst photographs I have ever seen.

Why doesnt Turkish start a thread about how many programmes we will sell for the fulham game.

"Evertons /Newcastles and .....QPR's" LOL

A sense of reality is hardly likely to emerge down there when the News and Appy come out with lines about the ref bottling it bedause he has never officiated at such a big club as Pompey or that they are now the rest of the division's Cup Final.

Oh yeah?? The first sniff of an Arab "billionaire" or an underwater hotel magnate and it will be "s*d the trust - lets get Maradona and Riquelme into our team." Maradona and Riquelme may well be in their 60's by the time that happens but I am sure that they will still be better than the crud that will be wearing the Pompey shirt at the time.

A neck with that many wrinkles yet a face that is wrinkle free. Perhaps he is spomsored by botox.

Couldnt get a ticket for the Emirates so went to Lords. Great day with such a good finish. It may be he 6-1 blues talking. It may be the post Olympic spirit. It may be just because we won but ... who needs football at the moment?

Hate the shirt. For me it was summed up by Mike Ingham on 5 Live at the Man City game who commented "Southampton are in red today instead of their usual red and white stripes." For Chrits sake we will have to put up with this kit for a whole season. With a bit of liuck the sales will have been so poor that lessons will have been learnt.

When I was 5 , I wanted it to be Christmas every day. When I was 20 I wanted a 10 inch p e n i s. When I was30 I wanted every horse that I backed to win. Sometimes you have toaccept that you will not get what you want. The wish that Chanrai will just walk away and you will be left with a buoyant, financially stable club is as unrealistic as my wish that my p e n i s will shrink to 10 inches.

Thank God that the German DMark (worth 30p in those days) was the same shape and size as a UK 5 pence piece!!

Heysel happened the next year. We did end up in Europe but got knocked out in the first round by Hamburg. Away to Hamburg was one of the best trips possible. Boy did we have sme fun !!
-
Exactly. Subsequent relegations had nothing on that particular match. We finished second in the league that season as well!!

What drives me mad is when that wonderful radio station Talk Sport claim that the grey shirts game was the 6-3 match.

Some great advice here. I mentioned this thread to my miisus who is a midwife & used to run parentcraft classes. She approves of the advice that you have been given on here. (She is in the camp of keep them in the same room as you - if you want to but to move them out if you do not)/ The more unusual tips she came up with are Dont buy clothes for 0 - 3 months. They grow out of them too quick. Dont buy all the gadgets. You don't need them. eg Put the baby in the bath with you. You dont heed a baby bath and its much more fun for you. Buy a baby bouncer and dont be afraid to put the baby in the bouncer in front of the washing machine. Babies are fascinated by washing machinesand thisis a way to give you some peace and quiet if they start to get fractious. The best bit of advice we were given was "Babies come to live with you - you don't go to live with them". Of course you spoil them. You love tthem to bits. Of course you do everything you possibly can for them. But you create a rod for your own back if you give into their every whim as they get older. Don't change your life for ever. The couple who gave us this advice ended up with 3 very well adjusted normal daughters. Our son seems ok (well most of the time!!). My mate who ignored this advice now has a spoilt brat of a 9 year old daughter. He doesn't come to football any more. He doesn't go horse racing any more. He enjoyed being a father in the eary days....but he is not so happy now.

Having failed to get one in our end, how easy is it to get tickets with the home fans at Arsenal?

Lee Barnard to Bournemouth on loan - Confirmed

Not if they play like they did on Tuesday when they lost 3-0 to Swindon being torn apart in the second half. -
Bompey are 12/1 with Bet365 to win by 4+ on saturday.

Depressed?? I think this is all highly amusing. Let them have a slow lingering death so that this thread can continue. Watching their team of triallists and no hopers struggle this season will provide us with many laughs. Suicidal? The biggest danger to life comes from someone dying from laughter.

You could do a lot worse than move to Ealing. I lived there 25 years ago and it used to be a top place. Friends still live in the area and although it has changed it is still a good place to be. Very convenient for the Holborn area.

Porky Penny has more important things to do than to associate with Pompey. That was last season's potential vote winner. She was on the news the other night slagging off the Lib Dems. She can probably sense that pompey are on the way out and is distancing herself from that car crash.
