What a great thread. So much that I had forgotten about. The hit the bar competition when the players were training. The squaddies causing the trouble at the ground - several of them were Preston fans and were wearing PNE scarves from their wrists. The riot police coming into the crowd spraying cs gas. Thank God for 5p's. The Reeperbahn was the highlight. Who on earth would do such a thing as wave to their mates across a peep show stage?? A disgusting waste of 5p!!! I remember entering one club and watching a couple at it on the stage. We sat down and were immediately approached by a hostess who wanted us to spend £100 on a bottle of champagnee. As soon as we refused the couple stpped and started drinking coffee until the next punters entered the club. My sister got married the Saturday after the game. I got home the afternoon before the wedding. My mother always wonders why I looked so pale in the wedding photos!!

Perhaps Neil allen was off sick the day at school when the English teacher taught the class about paragraphs. Mind you. you would have thought that a man who earns his iving from the pen would be able to write better English than this.

Call me pedantic but do these numbers make sense?? At the end of 2012/3 they have £1.3m in the bank. The next season their income is £2.2 million less than their expenditure ... yet their bank balance has grown to £2.2 million. They lose £2.2 million yet their bank balnce increases by £0.9 million. The same is true in future years. Any idea how they achieve that

Troll 1 decides he can be bothered to write something good about Red k rapp on a "mong board" so troll 2 stops serving dinners to the sailor boys and supports troll 1 and then troll 3 joins in eager to show that despite his arrogance he is really as thick as pig's shidte. What I find amusing on this board these days is the way that the post match tread seems to go. It starts off with the attention seeking chicken lickens claiming that the world is about to end. Adkins must be sacked. Half the team must be sacked. Relegtion is a certainty - after all everyboy knows that the season ends in early november rather thaan May. After the first 100 or so posts a sense of perspective sets in . People who have attended the match start to post and the internet warriors who are rooted to their computers are out numbered by the people who know what they are talking about. FWIW my opinion is that our performance yesterday was a lot more solid than it has been. If we played like that every week, we will win more games than we lose.Our season is still young and perhaps we are beginning to learn how to play in this division. If we can cut out or even just reduce the number of defensiveerrors we will start to rise up the table.

This was a post that you started Delldays in May 2011 - just after we achieved our promotion from League 1. Isn't it strange that now you claim never to have rated promotion from League 1. Like a liar , an internet troll needs to have a good memory :-0

Your sudden conversion Dell days to the anti Adkins team is causing you to lose the plot somewhat. I am not quite sure what you mean by posting that list of managers. Those managers got their teams into the Premiership. I don't think that any of them achieved back to back promotions like NA. For some reason you are discounting the promotion he achieved when getting out of League 1. At the time that he took over you were already writing that season off. This was pointed out to you with much mutual laughter in our celebrations after the Plymouth match. Having achieved what he has achieved doesn't NA deserve more than a handful of games in the Premiership?

As anyone who reads the Pompey Takeover thread is fully aware, PES is a skate. That he has voted for Akins to be replaced shows what is best for our club.

Nice to see that PES is so interested in the Saints that he has voted for a change in manager on the Adkins poll on the main board.
