Wotte's comment on Sagga makes me very worried. a. For Wotte's sanity. b. For Sagga's effort for the rest of the season. For me he was our last glimmer of hope. I am very very worried about Wotte/Saggas relationship. Coffin is nailed shut and in the hole with the first shovels of dirt being placed upon it... there's still time to wake up and get Wotte and Lowe out of the Club for the fight. But it needs to happen this week.

everyone has accepted we are in league one next season

Particularly the youth team -
'Club polishy'

No surprises. Wotte will say, 'We desherved to vin de game, the fansh should not sing der dont know wotte you are doing shong ash I am very good looking guy'. Lowe will say, ...................... Wilde will say, ...................... Charlton win. I feel physically sick. Can't wait to hear the diehards reaction.
-
And that is also criminally negligent on Lowe's part. An arrogant assumption that we wouldnt need Rasiak, John, Dyer (superb today for Swansea I thought) and Sagga for most of the season and failure to build in a recall clause. Inept. I feel sick.
-
If Sagga isnt injured I am sueing for criminal negligence. Seriously though is Lowe is forcing a youth playing policy at this stage of the season in order to develop them or whatever other fantasy he has going on in his very tiny mind, I think we should write to his missus and recommend he is sectioned under the mental health act.

I predict a riot. Still, club policy and all that...

The irony is that Lowe was appointed to avoid the financial meltdown and administration caused by 'the gross financial mismanagement of the previous board'. He will fail in his chief mission... FAILED TO SORT OUT THE FINANCES. FAILED TO AVOID ADMINISTRATION. He has failed his shareholders - 17p and falling. He has failed in his youth policy. He has failed in his managerial appointment(s). He has failed the youth set up - badly damaging its reputation. He has failed to maintain the support of his customers (or are we fans now he needs us I forget) - he has lost more fans than any other chairman in Southampton's history - I think that is correct in terms of numbers - no doubt Duncan can confirm or deny this for me. He has taken a salary and expenses and delivered nothing - interesting parallels with Swansea's Chairman who has taken almost nothing. FAILED. Now, can someone tell me why is he still here? Because the answer to that final question causes me the most concern. It is very very worrying. It is worrying because he cannot accept failure and financially is secure enough to carry on and carry on here at Southampton until he dies or is successful. I think the former is more likely. I think he may try and carry on for another dozen years unless we get him out now whilst he's vulnerable.

OK Ponty... 20 minutes! I tried mate, I tried I blame the Referendum Party personally.

Again Prof, I think you're talking outside of reality. You make your own luck in life and especially in competitive sport. This has nothing to do with the fans and even if it did, the reality is that the fans have had enough. Luck has nothing to do with our league position. Our position has everything to do with inept policy-making at Chairman level, poor players and bad leadership. -
I think it was more incompetent than that. We signed a high-risk injury player who has had surgery on 2 slipped discs (?) based on a YouTube video of him scoring a flukey goal for the Everton Reserves.
-
Draw 2-2. An overconfident Bristol throw it away in the last 10 minutes. Sagga scores 2 cheeky goals on his one man mission to save Saints.
-
or... 'Has Crouch made 50 peopole redundant to raise £6m to buy Saints?' ... see Ponty, back on topic .... for 5 minutes
-
I still think the debate on this thread should be: 'Can Crouch now afford the £2m to save Saints this season?'
-
Its a Premier League leaders conspiracy to prevent Stoke from winning the league with Delap's throw-ins into the box from all over the pitch.
-
Nope it was a rumour. But, it seems such a small price for someone to pay to be hailed at hero in Hampshire!

I was refering to Nickh to be honest.... and to reiterate I do admire Nick's admirable appeal, I just think that it's too late so we should work with the situation we NOW find ourselves in to seek the best for this Club... which is still survival in the CCC. What do we do? Support the team for the 90 minutes or until it looks like we've lost the game, and then protest hard against Lowe. Protest before and after. Write to the papers. Keep posting on this messageboard and others how much Lowe HAS to stand down for good. What else can we do?
-
Not true. I do actually want Lowe and Wotte to prove me wrong... really really badly. But they're not. ... funny though DDs !
-
LOL... this is why I come on here. That image brings back so many memories of my own nippas! LOL. Good analogy too. Coffee to monitor moment that! Ponty - we ought to have a Golden Metaphor Posts board.... some people (whatever their position) come up with some real gems, particularly at times of adversity! Football irony... just ace!

I disagree. Look how many changed their tune over Pearson. 'Its a results driven business' apprently Success = forgiveness. But he won't succeed.
