I think we've reached the diehards limits at home - about 13000. Mind you I suspect you're all right as I havent subtracted the away supporters and ST holders who are regularly staying away. OK I'd go with 9-10000 diehards. Makes me even more worried now though.

Oh Yes. Count me in. Respected manager urgently needed. -
Yes but not consistently game after game... Sorry our problems have nothing to do with luck everything to do with gross mis-management.

why buy saints when you could get a prem club for a snip?
SaintRobbie replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
Correct. Why is that I wonder? And before people say no one wants to buy SFC we have had an offer - SISU. Also, we have had Mary Corbett - a fan and someone who still commands respect - tell us that investors are out there but refusing to come in whilst Lowe is associated with the Club. What's more, you get Saints for a much much cheaper deal than a Premiership Club. -

This Trust idea about the council buying SMS

...done it the same way as Swansea. -
There will always be 13000 diehards - whatever happens. Lowe doesnt put money into the Club, only takes a salary. By remaining he does not have the indignation of losing the value of his shares as he is still in a position to try and regain that loss. He is also convinced he is right and the vast majority of pundits and fans are wrong. He is secure financially through other unconnected businesses, takes a salary that most of us would die for from SFC, and so unless he carries on with SFC until it is either successful or he loses his will to continue, HE MAINTAINS HIS PRIDE AND SECURITY. That is the dangerous thing. Relegation for Lowe last time didnt see him leave. Nor will it this time. He uses the Club as a personal life project and he will tell himself that we all dont understand that this is a longterm plan... it isnt... but he is deluded enough to spin this one later. In sum, in his own tiny mind, Lowe has pride to lose if he leaves, nothing to lose if he stays... except maybe his second wife. He does not and never has given a flying **** for the fans and their own pride.

Saints WILL go down in last place. It's traditional under Lowe. Rest... dont care really.

I think its now reached the stage that without Wotte and Lowe standing down we're definitely going down. Therefore, reluctantly, I would now advocate protesting throughout games, particularly at SMS. We need to sneak in the banners, to humiliated Lowe and abuse his sidekicks - its the only language they understand. There is a grave threat to this club that Lowe and others are planning to consolidate their hold over the club during the process of administration. This must not be allowed to happen. Lowe has led us to our lowest position in 49 years and under his influence will continue to send us towards League 2. We have to use whatever, legal, methods we can to remove the current boardroom and do whatever WE can to encourage delisting of the plc and a takeover, no matter how small, in order to rebuild with confidence throughout the club and with the support of the fan base. Lowe has failed, is failing and will always fail.

Swansea. Look at Swansea for an example of what can be done from nothing. -

They are thinking, 'roll on the end of the season so we can consolidate our ownership of Southampton FC' -
Poll: Will y0u attend next season if lowe and wilde are still here?
SaintRobbie replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
No. Lowe is about to lead Saints to their lowest point not in 27 years as he had before... but now the lowest in 49 years. What's more we havent finished falling under him. Once our better players leave as a result of his marginalising policies we can expect to go straight to League 2. He has to leave for good. -
Its GB and JP all over again. Same old crap.

I dont get how you think Wotte and Lowe are delivering anything other than relegation. Therein lies your answer. Bored of typing it to you Nick... but just once more: Lowe/Wotte = CERTAIN RELEGATION. THAT IS NEGATIVE THINKING. Crouch(or anyone but Lowe!!)/Anyavailable CCC experienced manager = POSSIBILITY OF SURVIVAL AND HOPE/FANS SUPPORTING THE RUN IN BATTLES. THAT IS POSITIVE THINKING. NICK THE REALITY IS THE FANS ARE LEAVING AND HATE LOWE - THEY DONT SUPPORT HIM. HE IS A LIAR AND UNTRUSTWORTHY. HIS MANAGER IS ****. REALITY. NOW WE NEED TO BUILD ON THE REALITY TO STAND A CHANCE. You're on another planet mate if you are prepared to roll over for Wotte and Lowe to turn this around.
-
You're right. But they get to set the conditions prior to Administration... so they can shape it to their advantage. Askham and Lowe have a plan.

Cancer. -
Exactly - it is CLUB POLICY.
-
...or the bidder in the insider position of knowing exactly how much others are likely to offer and/or in a position to value the assets of SFC accordingly. The current board have an advantage over other bidders. Lowe will not stop tinkering with this club until he's proven right. He does not need the money from the club - it gives him status and he gives nothing back. He IS about to take again. He IS looking at increasing his holding. He has nothing to lose and an ego to fulfill.
-
Lowe IS intending to buy the Club upon or in order to avoid administration. I am pretty convinced of that. There can be no other explanation for his calmness at the moment... unless he has a plan to make something for himself on the demise of this club. But I agree... the fans wont let him. I suspect the fans will be coming for you soon Mr Lowe.
-
We were never getting anything out of this game with Wotte in charge. But, another manager would help IMHO.
-
Alot of wives and girlfriends are going to be sad if they're going out with Saints fans tonight. Valentines Day ruined. Still I'm sure Wotte can afford a good evening.
-
Agreed. That is very very worrying. I think any hope left just fizzled away.

I am beginning to think Branfoot eviction tactics are required. .... never thought I'd type that.
