  1. Fester Adams?
  2. 'Lowe never went away you know'
  3. [HOME WIN! *flash* HOME WIN! *flash* HOME WIN! 'Rockin all over the world...!'] "Saints fans will be disappointed they didn't win by more than 1 goal..."
  4. "Another home win for Southampton's British manager"
  5. "The man of the match is'NT Kelvin Davies"
  6. Is Adams better than Wotte? Yes. Is there better than Adams out there? Yes.
  7. Gutted... Adams was about to become a hero.
  8. I think his motives started as quite honorable. ... then he has been held by the short and curlies over an indescrete incident... and then he supported Lowe. IMHO of course.
  9. Agreed. Wotte and Lowe on the other hand... enjoy.
  10. OK - I am happy with some of those comments. But, Wotte or Holloway? No competition for me.
  11. I did that last time. Apparently quite a number of people did.
  12. Whilst we're on the subject what are the odds for Saints to go down? £1000 dead cert bet I'd have thought. I wonder if they're less now than when Lowe put a bet on at the start of the season? .... well its an explanation isnt it!?
  13. We could on the right if we had Dyer back. He looked fantastic for Swansea yesterday, 2 assists for 2 goals.
  14. My thoughts exactly.
  15. Worrying - no wonder he spends so much time on his hair!
  16. I laughed before and when he issued this statement. And I laugh again now. Another Lowe'd of crap.
  17. No chance of staying up with Lowe driving a club policy of who can play and Wotte managing to do nothing more than brush his hair. If we get an English manager and Crouch in (briefly) we may survive just, but given the current leadership and the fact that our decent players will desert in droves at the end of the season with the current manager, we're not just heading for League 1 but League 2. I have no doubts having watched a couple of League 1 games this season, we are not good enough for League 1 as it is let alone when we losae players. We need a new manager and new chairman. Now.
  18. Yep. Right now I'd agree. I think he made mistakes but was certainly not the worst of a long list of Lowe appointees.
  19. There's nothing wrong with DMG and BWP, or any of our inexperienced players, that a decent manager wouldnt be able to correct. But we dont have a MANAGER just someone who coaches. It is called discipline and desire. Although for what its worth, I remember WGS kicking the players out of the bars in town to get more out of them. But discipline and desire cant really be generated when you're taking your lead from an inanimate extension of your chairman - a confirmed loser - who has also been openly accused by some on this messgaeboard as having interesting recreational interests (dunno if its true, frankly not interested, but regardless it must undermine their confidence in Wotte). Now Holloway... there's an alternative.
  20. One hope... English manager and Crouch. NOW.
  21. Everyone = Lowe/Wotte plus that eejit who wrote the Telegraph blog ... from what I can see.
  22. Sorry for bringing this back but having been thinking about Holloway's reaction on Sky the other night and Crouch's ability to bring in an English manager now I think Holloway would be a brilliant choice. Why? He cares.... ALOT. He is his own man - not a camp follower like Wotte/JP or others. He warned Mandaric over relegation and was proven right. He'd be the plain talking manager that Crouch would need to keep him in his place. He has been very successful at this level. He has a WGSesque style with the media, which is amusing if nothing else and makes him popular with the media, if a little eccentric. HE IS VERY POSITIVE. He comes from a hard family background - I think he has disabled/blind children which doesnt dint his passion and focus. He motivates - players AND I believe fans. I think Holloway may be what we need. He might not now be able to rescue us but by god I sense with him having had the back end of the season to win over our players we'll stand a chance of significant improvement and return to the CCC relatively quickly. Currently we're heading for League 2. With Crouch and Holloway there's hope.
  23. They have ALWAYS taken NEVER given back. Whether this is relevant or not - it's a fact.
