  1. lol - fair cop Turkish. But, in reflection I think a 6 year banning order is fair. Given that no one was seriously injured. My point is that Clubs do not seem to be coming out and offering support to the authorities by taking independent action. Saints - Pompey is one of the best fixtures on the footballing calender, both Clubs know that it has potential for violent activitity and both Clubs should offer a zero-tolerance policy as a result. We have seem fans banned in the past. I wonder if the Club has been given guidance not to act by the FA?
  2. I didnt say ban them for life. But I will take the 6 years that the courts have delivered.
  3. I have said for sometime we should have a statue of MLT next to the Players Entrance - or even a bust - with 'LOYALTY' on the plinth.
  4. Yep. I don't want to take my kids to matches that have small minded idiots behaving like this associated with them. Would it bother you if these so called fans were not banned by the club? I expect the Club to impose some sort of ban to set an example and demonstrate that they do not condone such behaviour.
  5. NC can called them the Portsmouth Suites for all I care as long as he delivers Saints to the Premiership!
  6. Its not a stripe with a beer belly, its a hoop.
  7. James is no loss IMHO.
  8. Did Hodgson play for Saints? No. So he doesnt count in this fred
  9. Only because the thread was ex Saints. I dont think he should but given the job but from the ex-Saints on offer, he's high on the list I'd have thought. Former Saints who could/should manage England?...
  10. With apologies to SNSUN!
  11. Surprised more people arent calling for Shearer to be honest.
  12. Venables was arguably the best England manager in recent years, he was certainly not allowed to reach his full potential. I would like to see Arry get it for the Euro qualifiers just to watch the Spuds panic again!
  13. Very good Trousers! It also shows their league performance since Agent Redknapp left.
  14. Pretty cool road sign.
  15. Very good nomination. Hadn't thought of that FOOL!
  16. Jesus. He was quite cool.
  17. OK here's my starters: Just swigging a bottle down now to be fair, nice and cool.
  18. Alternatively...
  19. I want Saints to be in the Premiership with a 55,000 seater stadium packed as we're always pushing for European football. League 1 and the CCC are two years of pain on the way to achieving my ambition! I wonder if I'll see that materialise?
  20. Saintsweb in evil plc expose!
  21. OK, Crap-ello is about to be booted out. Which former Saint could and would be in a position to manage England successfully? Redknapp? Like it or not, he will be the first choice of the average England fan right now. Keegan? A second tour? Hoddle? (Cue Dalek..!) Wise? (Eek!) Sir Clive Woodward? (lol) Shearer? MLT? Shilts? .... who's your choice and why? Just to stir things up I am punting (not recommending, merely punting) on Redknapp.
  22. I gotten used to it. But the banner is still pump. Everytime I look at the 'Saints' logo (70s programme logo or not) I expect to see Ronald McDonald in the row of players.
  23. Saints would be hammered by England. Fact.
  24. Wonder why McCarthy blocked it? I guess it was because he either wanted Surman as cover for the remainder of the season or he was after a sale only. Still doesnt change things that much. If Pards was prepared to buy him it wouldve shown AP wanted and highly rated him. A loan is as good as a trial but no-more in my eyes if Pards was looking for Surman in March. Still sounds to me as if Pards was unconvinced.
  25. My money is on Redknapp for the next England manager. The country (less Saints fans) will be determined to get a respected English manager in for the Euro qualifiers. Arry is there in South Africa, and there for a reason. He's no fool. Watch Arry take the England managers slot.
