Cortese would certainly win back some support if he reinstated WGS. I am not usually one for going back to the past, but the chance to get WGS back to Saints is not one to miss. Sign him up!

Lowe made so many mistakes, I cannot quite work out which one NC may have learnt anything from. One thing I do know is that NC is on course for catching Lowe up on the amount of mistakes he is making. I think its time to sack Cortese.

NC has really screwed this up. Pardew out for this bloke in? Madness. NC I'm afraid to say is the one who needs to be sacked and Pardew reinstated. My patience after yesterdays result is now finished. NC OUT.

I think NC may bring in a foreign manager... but who knows, one thing he has going for him is tight security.

Strikes me that AP and NC have not been seeing eye to eye for a while. This could be correct. With Leibherr away and the upper echelons in turmoil, NC has far too much freedom. He is likely to be sacked, knows he is unpopular across the board in the press, with the fans and now no doubts the players. Perhaps hes doing this out of spite before his own inevitable sacking????

Oh dear. It feels a little like Lowe is in charge all over again.

Right now I'd say that the only manager worth sacking Pardew for would be Martin ONeil. Frankly, anyone else will be ridiculed by the fans as a lesser man than AP at this moment in time. I hope NC has someone of the calibre of Martin ONeil lined up, if not the lynching mob will dscend methinks.

Rule One of football success is consistent management... well at least Cortesse has acknowledged he's screwed that up. Rule Two is only ever replace your manager if you have a better one lined up. ....lets see if NC can manage to pull this out of the bag, otherwise the fans and The Sun will lynch him. Personally, I think this is a massive error of judgement.

Arguably, one of the most important men in Saints history. The man who brought Southampton FC out of the flames like a Phoenix. A man who saved this Club, generated hope, optimism and morale in a City that prides itself in its footballing gladiators. A man with ambition and pride in his Club. A man with vision and desire. Our lasting tribute needs to be to continue that desire - to win and return to the top where he wanted his Club to be and had hoped to enjoy the ride there alongside us. We must play, support and progress for his memory and for the pride of his family that survive him. Thank you ML. Rest In Peace.

A standard Professor type post in line with his judgement calls over Lowe's greatness in previous years.... IMHO of course, but each to their own and well done to the lads who benefit from such a charity by contributing their lives and limbs to allow 'The Professor' to profess in a way that many in Afghanistan and elsewhere cannot through free speech. This charity is for those who allow you to spirt political crap like this on a football website. Its a great way of saying thank you to the lads ad lasses for their sacrifice. I agree. Tough executive, but all for the Club and our success. This Club has sporting professionalism written all over it now. Protecting the players and management by NC is a very good sign for the future in my opinion.

The difference with our current management structure than the previous Jokers. NC may appear aloof, but by God he's professional. If we can keep the our secrets secret at that level it cannot help but build a professional and winning team all round. God it's good to support this Club. Optimism!

LC is a good fan who tried and gambled high to try and get us back to where we should be - the Premiership - after the actions of Lowe. His biggest error was allowing Lowe to return, but I guess he had no choice.
