No Fox?

w0000000000000t! (I swear it works!)

A chairman's success is managed on his position in the League - Lowe continually saw us fall over his time - through 3 leagues. Cortese has won us a cup and promotion and set us up for success. We have a media that respects him and certainly has stopped slagging him and the club off. Best of all though he has ambition and passion. He gets my vote.

£4m swoop for Burnley duo Rodriguez and Fox?
SaintRobbie replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
This is why I love this site sometimes! I have been giving a huge Burnley fan friend of mine absolute grief all week on him and Fox… this just destroyed him! -
Hope so - he's hit 4 goals this season already!
-
Brilliant! Dirty Sanchez? Nah… Lawrie!

'You're Saints and you know you are'
-
Absolutely right… well it was slightly less **** than everything else.
-
I agree. But, I also find it difficult to really spot areas on the pitch where we are weak at the moment. We are in a nice position, where we can retain it in a transfer kitty until January if necessary. That said, I'd like to see some decent signings of proven Premiership quality akin to Connolly, older players with the experience to get us into the Premiership and then stay there.

I agree. AOC is certainly no Walcott…. are you reading this Arsenal fans? You been done even more than David Moyes buying James Beattie for Everton!! Gotta laugh.
-
What was the previous club record? At least we have been disclosed to the fact it was more than that!? FitzH will know...

Why do we hate pompey, our fishy neighbours?
SaintRobbie replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Why do we hate Pompey are fishy neighbours? It goes back to when I was a little boy. My mother told me to wash my mouth out at the thought of supporting Pompey and even went as far as telling me to shoot their fans with an old shotgun my father used to have. Oh those were the days! -
My first thoughts exactly, Theo's move is really put into perspective now. It goes to show how poor - in almost every way - Lowe was for this Club…. and the plc in the end! Well rid.
-
So nice to see us not being bullied by the larger clubs or messing up deals for our other super star youngster who went to the Arse. I am liking our club. £12m plus appearance money in due course. Nice if that's true. 'A club record'…

I love Leeds. ….can we play them every week?
-
lol!
-
Happy with that. At the end of the day he wanted away… and his dad is a sk8 after all £15m is pretty good. Arsenal fans don't seem too happy, but they are in urgent need of a defence. So, let's now see how Adkin's reinforces… I want to see at least a couple of decent players out of this one… just can't see where we are weak at the moment!

Saints 3 - 1 Leeds, Post Match Celebration
SaintRobbie replied to Cascadia Saint's topic in The Saints
LOL! Brilliant to see us in the promotion places already!! -
Happy days!
-
I hope we sell him to someone else rather than Arsenal - just for badness.
-
Like it! Back to stripes!!! We're Saints again not Peru!
-
Stripes for me everytime! It's Saints really. The sash was a super shirt and I love mine, but Saints for a generation of three have always been in stripes and we should return to it IMHO.
-
lol! I love comments like this...more of it I say!!! Real shame if we lose Sharp IMHO. A super striker at this level about to make the move to the Premier League if given the break. Saints certainly would give him that chance. I think he's made a mistake.

James Beattie was at Southampton airport this morning....
SaintRobbie replied to bigdavewatson's topic in The Saints
Only if he was made ultra-fit again. I am not so sure we need him. -
I am looking forward to completely outclassing them next season in every way from our Ground to our position, Brighton's season will be worse than they think; a new ground will feel like playing away and when they fail to fill it they will start to descend to League 1. I rate Poyet as a manager, but I suspect Brighton are about to over-extend themselves. I can see us competing strongly for promotion next year.
