When he goes to Spurs, the board can say "well, he turned down £6 million, he's the villain!" And then replace him with someone on a quarter of that. Everyone's a winner, except us losers.
Why would he? He has no particular loyalty to us, some of his best players will be sold and it appears we've reached our highest level. I'm not too sure he'd see the point.
My gut instinct. I'd be staggered if we have significantly improved from the AAP3 deal. I couldn't give a flying one who sponsors us, would just like to get the best possible deal for the club.
