http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-15138661 Or in this case, men... Two in Southampton over the weekend, not good.
-
Davis 9 - An absolutely brilliant save at 1-0 Richardson 9 - Fantastic going forward, and he's an absolute tank. Obviously extremely fit as he was bombing forward from first minute to last. No real problems defensively. Jos 8 - Wins everything in the air, even if the headers don't always reach their targets. Played well after a shaky first 20 minutes. Fonte 8 - Forging a good partnership with Jos, again was shaky in the first half but improved when put under more pressure by Iwellumo who didn't get a sniff. Fox 7 - Best game for him so far, puts in a lovely cross but can sometimes try to overplay. He wasn't getting so drawn towards centre half. De Ridder 8 - Looked extremely sharp and always provided a threat down the right. Looked to link up well with Richardson. Cork 9 - Rock. Hammond 8 - Was off at Burnley but much improved today. He links up defence and attack magnificantly at times, and he has a really good awareness of whats happening around him. Lallana 8 - Back to his best when he's on the ball, so unlucky with his effort that hit the bar, superb technique. When teams are tiring he can just take the ****. Guly 8 - Another good performance, people need to look beyond his perceived "laziness" (it's more the fact that he doesn't have to try very hard to be good). Lambert 8 - Brilliant penalty taker, he was a handful. I still think he'll be even better with a striker who likes to run in behind. Chaplow - Has seriously impressed me every time he has come on the pitch this season, barring Barnsley. Unlucky not to score. Morgan - Classy on the ball, came on at a good time. Holmes - Pleased for him, he has lots of ability if and when he can get fully fit over a long period of time.

Two points clear after 10 games, not bad. Scary thing is that we could have probably been 5 points clear, as a point at Leicester and a win at Burnley was easily obtainable if we had have taken our chances.

Where are the away tickets on the OS
LGTL replied to View From The Top's topic in Saints Away Supporters
I don't think they are selling Derby and Reading tickets online until they come on General Sale. When it's STH's only it's by box office or the booking line. -
A "yellow card" in Southampton just means you are halfway to a 12 month ban from any establishments that are part of the scheme. Nothing to do with an ASBO or whatever.

Davis Richardson Fonte Jos Fox Guly Cork Hammond Lallana De Ridder Lambert

Just got 3 tickets, it's the first one i've been arsed to do by train so looking forward to it!

This game was very similar to Burnley, only Burnley were a better team. Cardiff had two attempts on goal and scored from both, all through sloppy defending. How Lambert hasn't buried that header last night i'll never know, much like his chance at Burnley. Lallana very quiet, Richardson my MOTM. I'd start De Ridder instead of Connolly on Saturday who looked knackered after about 10 minutes, and every time Chaplow has come on he has impressed me this season bar Barnsley. I'd keep Guly and Lallana on the wings, but the CM pairing is a difficult one to decide at the moment.

Best non-playing night of football ever?
-
I suspect there would be some pretty good bundles in the Palace end!
-
I asked my mate (who does every game) but doesn't post or come on here about all this. He didn't have a clue what I was going on about. Says it all.
-
I never realised you were good at Maths dune!
-
I expect they do. 8 years of these current buffons in charge will be enough for anyone, and Labour would probably ease to a majority with Bertie Bassett in charge.
-
Great post Crab Lungs.
-
Do the club still employ a PR company to post on messageboards?

I am stunned that there is anyone who even reads his posts. -
I have recent experience of this area with Saints, and they were absolutely fantastic when it came to supporting a recent Ovarian Cancer event we had after losing a member of the family. They were the only local big business who even bothered replying.

The funny thing is, it comes from the UI, and they have no axe to grind with Cortese whatsoever do they.....
-
Cortese eats children. It's true, I saw him.
-
I'd stay on the M4 until Junction 33 and go to the stadium that way. I expect if people are following Sat Navs it will take you through the city centre.

Defensively I think Fox is more then adequate 1 on 1, but I would question some of his positioning. He does seem to get drawn towards the CB's, leaving a lot of room in behind. He can be a real threat going forward though as mentioned.
