If any of our knob head fans try starting it i'll give them a stern glance and then come and moan about it on here. Seriously though, it really is awful.

I'm not a lover at all of music/festivals, so it'll be holidays (tenerife confirmed, may get another week too in late July) and over to Ireland to see the family of the mrs. Also going to a couple of England games to keep me entertained and a few days of the tests at Lords. I hate pre-season.

That's the key to it for me. It wouldn't have been a massive achievement had he been here all season, started on a level playing field rather then 23rd or whatever it was, with a team devoid of confidence and one of the teams going unbeaten for half a season and still finishing 3rd. The fact that all that occured, plus injuries to Lallana and AOC at crucial parts of the season, make it a very good achievement in my opinion. Massive acheivement would have been 1st in those circumstances.

True, although 3200 away fans as opposed to the normal 200 was the main reason for that.
