If the BBC get rights for the Cricket, i'd be devastated. Cricket coverage on Sky is some of the best sporting coverage around.

Did he? No Doddy.

It's just a publicity stunt, they will have absolutely nothing to do with the child except on some public occasions no doubt. This is a total non-story really as the Nanny et al will bring it up.

I wish we signed CMS, he tore us apart at every opportunity last night. His contest with Seabourne was comical.

A lot of Wednesday fans are quite pleased, he played 200 times for them and is apparantly Weds through and through.

Plymouth Away - Saturday March 26th...........
LGTL replied to JRM's topic in Saints Away Supporters
Now confirmed on the OS as a 12.30pm kick off. -
Depends on the striker we are playing against. If big, stocky and slow I always think Jaidi has the advantage. If he's short, quick and runs in behind, then i'd prefer Seabourne.

I'm pretty sure that the Primary bursary has also been abolished. Here is a link to the letter that Gove sent to the TDA; http://www.tda.gov.uk/~/media/resources/about/letter_from_michael_gove_to_tda_on_teacher_training_places.pdf

Firstly, the PGCE year will be expensive for you, espicially with the new fee's that are being introduced, although i've not heard how they will affect ITT. Gove also mentioned yesterday that most busaries and all "Golden Hello's" have been removed. You will probably be working 12 hours a day in that year so no time for a p/t job, so seriously think about how you're going to finance it. Half the battle with teaching is getting on the PGCE course in the first place, so undertake at least 2 weeks in a School environment (i'd reccommend a whole term), and look into other avenues that gives you experience with children, such as youth clubs etc. Gove has also stated that anything below a 2:1 at Undergraduate is unacceptable for teaching, so make sure you get at least that. That is just to get into the training year, i'll leave anything beyond that to he experienced teachers among us.

Non-League football is a big pile of ****e, full of people who think they're professionals. I gave it up because that level was far too serious, espicially when you hav a job Monday to Friday. Nothing annoys me more then when Solent interrupt Saints to tell me about Dorchester Town V AFC Totton.

We could well win 7-6 on Saturday, Peterborough's goals record, both scored and conceded, is amazing. In terms of tonight, it was a sign of potential champions. Play absolutely **** and win. Massive result, the biggest of the season IMO.

And it has everything with showing love for the Jews, and nothing to do with antagonising Palestinians?

I go on far busier forums with far more members which never seems to go down. Don;t have to pay for it either. Just don't understand how they haven't got it right by now.

I've no idea about him, never seen him play, which is probably true for 95% of those on here. Therefore i'll hold fire untill I see him a few times.

$1.2 million for 2 weeks work, and people say footballers are over-paid.
-
Agree with every word. Although Jaidi is extremely useful when up against certain opposition.
-
I think Davis would have saved the 2nd goal.
-
You definately won't need to pay for one. Charities should provide one free of charge, your local hospital may even be able to help.

Block 1-3 will be the place to be tomorrow. Haven't really been too bothered but buzzing for it now.

I hope you're not as premature with your wife as you are with anything Saints, Cricket or Tennis related.

It's very true that you do need more than a degree these days. I graduated in 2009 with a 1st, but since then i've had to do unpaid work in a school, as well as in Youth Clubs etc, combined with a P/T job, in order to be accepted onto a PGCE for this September.

Good. It's pointless risking him and then him being injured for the next 10 league games.

Any decent apprenticeship (i.e the Esso apprenticeship) requires 5 GCSE's at grades A-C. It's all well and good doing training with any old company when you haven't even finished school, but they'll be stuck between £15,000-£20,000 for years.
