  1. It's just to a thing they say to get people to remember the ticket next time. I bet there isn't a single instance of someone being charged for it. It's just reserving the right to do something that they are never going to do. I'm sure a few seasons ago I forgot mine 5 or 6 times and each time they said next time I would have to pay.
  2. To swap 10,000 fans for.... 10,000 fans?
  3. Wouldn't have Antonio signed months ago if we were going to get him back?
  4. Can someone paste it? Can't get onto UK betting sites from where I am.
  5. Yes, it's the clubs fault you're all so fat.
  6. What and this works in real life too!? Jesus armed with this database i'm going to start a Locksheath and Botley United team and take them too the top! I'm going to be rich I tell you! Rich!
  7. They are available I saw in the shop the other day while getting my shirt printed. They are really ugly though and I don't know why anyone would get "N-Power" put on a sponsor free shirt.

  10. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2096187,00.html Could be a reason why the marketing has been less than expert? New Head of Sales & Marketing Appointed today. Hopefully this will iron out all the issues some have.
  11. Surprised rather than disappointed, I would have expected more signings by now. I will be very disappointed if we don't make another 3 (at least) after the pre-season tour. I suppose some of the Under-21's are good for cover though. Need another winger and midfielder. Not convinced "Doc" will remain injury free either, and even if we are planning to play with 1 up front then we just don't have a deep enough midfield to support it. Anyway I'm ranting. As I said surprised there has not been much movement yet but expect another 3 in before the season starts.
  12. It feels like Christmas Eve when you are young and you don't know if the present is going to be amazing and exactly what you wanted or a massive let down.
  13. "There's no pleasing some people" "That's just what Jesus said sir!"
  14. I have heard from a nailed on 100% reliable source that Lallana has actually bought out his contract in order to leave the club because he wants to give up football and go on terrorist fighting missions with Chuck Norris and Mr T.
  15. Can I bing a slide whistle for when Forcast is in goal?
  16. You'll also have to pay for a tax disk in Switzerland at the border (around €20 I think) and the motorways through France will set you back another €100ish. Also remember that in Switzerland there are only a few petrol stations that take Euro's at the border generally so you might want to get some Swiss Francs.
  17. To be fair, Brent is a **** hole. This is outrageous though, housing benefits in London should be going to art graduates that can't be bothered to get a jobs and people in Camden and Hackney that are in bands. That's what it's for FFS. Seriously though I'm not sure that our housing benefits systems even fits in with the ideology of the welfare state. For a start it is not a safety net, it is not to catch people falling off the bottom of the rung so that they can climb back up, it serves to keep them there. More importantly it erodes the idea of the social contract in that to give to one what another has to work for is obviously going to restrict the freedoms of the person who is working (and strictly talking of the ideological sense, it also therefore restricts the freedoms of the people on the benefit). Furthermore in practice I know people that do not need the benefit that are on it, and people that do need it to find it impossible to get. In general I'm not sure giving cash is a good way to solve the problem, having said that food stamps in the US don't work well either, and as others have stated, estates are crap. Agree with the posters that some kind of Social housing scheme would be best and if you google it there are some studies to suggest to put scattered social housing within a suburban setting works extremely well, and encourages people to stop to be reliant on the state since their neighbors, micro-society etc. are all working, and people are psychologically inclined to conform to their social setting (hence why Estates turn into Ghettos). Obviously everyone would agree that £2000p/w in Kensington is a gross misappropriation of tax payers money and completely inappropriate. Also am confused as to what asylum seeking has to do with this as they were granted asylum 11 years ago, but this is the Mail.
  18. Do you think a name like Lambert is better on your shirt than having a Tadgay on it?
  19. Do you mean the 1-1 away with Hardings debut in January?
  20. Agree with all the above, except to mention good right backs are few and far between at this level, so taking that into consideration, along with the free factor he'll do a job for you, providing your CB's will tackle for him.
  21. Also, that is a Swiss hill. They will find out the difference soon enough.
  22. As thousands have said before me, real beer!! They can manage to give independent breweries their own bars in the concourse at rugby matches, there is no reason it couldn't be done at football. If there was a profit share arrangement from the club to pay the match day rent I'm sure it would be good for all parties as well.
