What a strange result Saturday's was v Bristol Rovers. Saints played better then than at any time this season I wonder Why ?? I was no great fan of Pardew, and had already got Pi**ed off with all the "Hoofball" being played during matches IMH, Pardew has gone simply because, with the very very good Squad he had, he UNDERACHIEVED miserably There may be other "off field" reasons, but, to me, the FOOTBALL reasons are the only ones are the best Pardew had lost the plot, as he has done at every other Club he has been at. Records can prove that without a doubt The only thing that is strange is Cortese (apparently ) getting rid of Pardew without having a Top Quality replacement lined up That is very very Unprofessional of him, and may very well have cost us our season

I still feel that the Pardew sacking was decided some time ago So far, from a "Business" angle, everything Cortese has done (good or bad) has been 100% Professional But the big IF is this If Pardew's sacking was as a result of an argument between Pardew and Cortese over Antonio, and Cortese did it right there and then, then that was a completely UN professional decision So, if Cortese has got rid of Pardew, without having someone lined up already, then in my book, he is an idiot IMHO, his Five Year Plan is in tatters. I think that this is the first sign of Cortese paving the way for his own exit, without any guarentees of a Buyer on the horizon THE WHEELS HAVE COME OFF BIG TIME
