Indeed. Personally I think DCC is our best CB, and Armstrong far and away our most creative player. Strange line up - it can only be a back 3 with a weak midfield; or a back 4 with a CB at full back and AMN in the middle, or a back 4 with AMN at full back and a CB in midfield. I'm not confident!

Ely is the better footballer of the two. That's not praise of Ely, but a reflection of how poor Aribo is. For me, we need players who'll give 100%, and Aribo is not one of those players.

I'll get shot down, but Ely over Aribo for me. Aribo is a lazy sod and lacks quality.

I think midfield is the problem. They get overrun and the defence are then facing strikers and midfield runners. 4 at the back gives scope for 1 more in midfield which, in theory, should stem the tide. Personally, if Jones likes a back 3, he should persist with it and build a team in front of it that complements it. And like Duckie says, DCC, Sali and ABK are 3 of our better players. We shouldn't have one (or two) of them on the bench and the likes of Maitland Niles starting. Play your preferred system and your best players.

Why it's not working is weird. Sali, ABK and DCC should make a cracking CB trio. All good defenders, all read the game well enough, and all are ok on the ball.
