  1. I've never suggested that people haven't been impacted by it, but tell me what those fisherman, farmers and exporters achieve by complaining. There's no movement to rejoin, and no suggestion that we'd be welcomed back. You're the chief moaner on here. How have you been impacted personally?
  2. I disagree Whitey. Living in the past, or a version of reality that is preferable, achieves nothing positive. Brexit has impacted many, but everyone impacted has to move on and make the best of it. Sure, they can be resentful if they must, but that'll achieve nothing but more pain and strife.
  3. There's nothing defensive in acknowledging that we probably shouldn't have left, but the smug "I was right, you were wrong" is unnecessarily confrontational...and ultimately achieves nothing. I've moved on from brexit. We all have to. Give it a try.
  4. In the real world most sensible people accept that it's happened and just get on with it. We left, and probably shouldn't, but it's happened. Remind me of the benefits of continually saying "I was right, you were wrong". It ain't gonna change a thing.
  5. I get that MLG, but clubs can go up and down the leagues from season to season, whereas players can't go back and forth between a Prem club and Championship club season to season. If players aren't quite good enough for a particular league, then the league below is their level.
  6. I think Armstrong needs shelving this season, then a strong pre season to get his confidence back. He's shown glimpses, and although I'm not convinced there's a premier league player there, he needs another season to show what he can do.
  7. Agree with that, although I'm not sure that Ralph can be criticised for picking the ineffective Long over the ineffective Armstrong. Long at least has some aerial presence.

I've never met a gambler yet who who hopes to lose his/her money...that defeats the object.
  9. This looked pretty real...

Lighten up? I'm genuinely amazed that any self respecting fan would hope to make money from his teams relegation, and think that acceptable. Each to their own, but for me, its all kinds of wrong.

Jesus wept. Hoping to make money on your team getting relegated is not the behaviour of a fan.

Behave. We ain't going down. And anyone who bets on us to go down (even if it was a possibility) is a disgrace.

  16. The team has tailed off for me. He's getting no service and looks frustrated. That Chelsea system wouldn't suit him though, he'd struggle in the way Lukaku has.

  18. Me. He'll go this summer if we get a big offer. It'll give him 4 years or so at a big club and a chance for honours and to become an England regular. No "bed wetting" from me, until this season I've never been his biggest fan, but he's improved massively, and will be a big loss. He's settled in Otterbourne so my money would be on a London club, perhaps Chelsea as Cobham isn't far.

  20. Yeah, but he's good. Small and average ain't a recipe for success in the Prem.
  21. Good. We all know what's going on, and Ukraine can be covered without dominating day in day out. That said, I'm not sure who has any interest in what Corden is up to.

  23. Yep, that Leicester are bigger and better than us at the moment shouldn't even be a discussion. That said, I agree with Lighthouse that I can't see him going to Leicester. My understanding is that he's on his way this summer though, no idea where, but I'm with Lord Duckhunter that I reckon he'll end up at a top 6 club, although I can't see him being a regular starter at any of them.
