  1. Fuck me, this is tedious. I haven't got a clue what your point is and I don't think you do!! Yep, he changed the keeper. You say it made no difference to the result. It's therefore a non point. Let it go mate.
  2. This is a thread about tonight's match. There's no point in waffling on about our change of keeper in tonight's match unless you're saying it was relevant to tonights match!! Jeez
  3. This is a thread about tonight's match. There's no point in waffling on about our change of keeper in tonight's match unless you're saying it was relevant to tonights match!! Jeez.
  4. Then your point in the context of tonights result is as pointless as SKD. Arguing for the sake of it.
  5. Unless you're saying that Forster playing ahead of McCarthy made a difference to the result, the point you make is academic to tonights result.
  6. Are you honestly saying that you think tonight will have gone better if McCarthy had played?
  7. I'd hope so. £10 million plus in wages a year for those 3 keepers. Mental.
  8. Being poor is a different point. You've been saying that changing keepers impacts the team. Man City and Chelsea change their defensive players every game. That's much more disruptive than changing keepers. Regardless, we wouldn't have won if McCarthy was playing so I'm not of the point you're making in the context of tonight's result.
  9. Chelsea are arguably the best English club team on current form. They change their back 5 every game. We're keeping a settled back 4. I don't share the opinion (it's not a fact) that changing a keeper unsettles the defence in front of them.
  10. I think its a bit of both. Give them both games to prove themselves to us and others, then make a decision on who to move on if/when offers come in.
  11. You're struggling with the whole we all can have an opinion thing aren't you.
  12. We didn't deserve that 2nd goal. Lots of positives from this game, and Liverpool didn't look good because we didn't let them.
  13. Yep. He's absolutely what we've missed in the middle. He runs between the lines, makes space for others.
  14. He had no runners to hit so held the ball up until he had support.
  15. Agreed. He looks very sharp. Lost none of his pace.
  16. Looks like that, he looked like he was flagging. He did well.
  17. Obafemi looks massive. Like a welterweight trying to move up to cruiserweight.
  18. Probably the kiss of death, but Redmond and Stephens have worked well together against Alexander-Arnold and Salah.
  19. Yep. Just missing that little bit of composure and decision making. He's got pace though, a bit of strength, a few tricks. He's got a chance that's for sure.
  20. Nonsense. Call the situation for what it is, not what he did the other week.
  21. It was and to be honest, I'm not sure how people couldn't see that rather than pelting Adams.
  22. To be fair, the only criticism I'm reading is that Vestergaard is a bit statuesque, that we didn't score when we had chances, and that Walcott looks poor. It's been said that we've played some good stuff and that Tella looks decent. It can't be ignored though that he missed a chance which (for me) was easier than Adams, and that he should have played the ball to Adams earlier and firmer. We're allowed to call what we see mate, its a forum.
  23. I'd need to see it again, but to me it looked like a weak ish ball played too late, meaning he had to check a little and received the ball when the keeper was on top of him. People are making out it was a sitter - it wasn't.
  24. He's decent. I'd like to have seen more of Watts as he's got something about him too.
  25. They certainly are. The Fabinho foul on him where his knee went a bit was a yellow all day long.
