Whilst this is yet another pointless discussion, it's wrong to say that a players value is determined by their value to the team. An asking price is exactly that, but value is determined by market forces, ie what someone is willing to pay.

Agreed. I didn't agree with the squad, or the first Xl, and thought leaving Grealish or Foden out against Ukraine was nuts. Southgate knows what he's doing though, and he's used his squad amazingly. To think that we did that last night without Foden or Grealish getting a single minute, and with half the team getting a breather from fairly early on.
