Yep, France is what I had in mind. I heard of a guy pulled over and fined for driving past a Carrefour because he wanted to go to another supermarket further away. The point was that if you need essentials, get them in carrefour as it's nearer your home. Sadly, this country and this thread, is full of people who have the attitude that they think something is ok, or they don't give a fuck, so do it. It's easy to blame the government and guidance, and whilst that's a factor, the virus is spreading over here because too many people are selfish idiots.

Spot on. This vague and ambiguous guidance is nonsense. If the intention is to stay within X miles of our homes and go to the nearest shop for essentials, then say so and make it the law with proper meaningful enforcement. With that said, there are too many intelligent people (on here and out there) who's focus still seems to be to do what they want because they deem it safe. Anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that going out for essentials doesn't mean taking the family to costco for a mooch around, or driving miles away for a walk.

I think the time will come, if it hasn’t already, that we need to switch up the 10’s. Diallo is neat and tidy and can run with the ball from deep slightly upfield. In the 10 position you need to be more creative than neat and tidy, and the running is in different areas. Whether he has it in his locker I have no idea. I think JwP has a lot to offer in that position although I take your point that the Romeu/ JwP combo should be our first choice CM pairing. There’s a lot of games and I suspect we’ll see a few permutations but the fact that we’re talking which combinations of players to use shows how far we’ve come under Ralph, and what good options we have. Nice.

Whilst I wouldn't want to disrupt our midfield to do this, at some point we'll have to play Diallo and Romeu together in the middle. Romeu sitting will allow Diallo to break forward and run between the lines which he's shown he can. Whether Diallo or JwP would be the better 10 we don't yet know, but for me JwP could play the role at least as well as Armstrong and his passing ability in that role could well lead to more goal chances.

That's one of strangest comments / questions I've heard in ages. Depending on how the other team set up, play, how the game go's, etc, we need to change / tweak how we play. It's not for the players to figure that out, have a little chat, and then implement it. Their job is to play, and the coach does the coaching.

I'd say yes, and as Weston says, make football pay for it with bells on. For me, I'd like to see it happen a) to keep the game going as the winter is gonna be bleak enough, b) there will be players impacted longer term by this - a small amount of lung or other physical damage to an elite athlete will make a difference, and c) I would hope that seeing footy players take it will give confidence to the anti vax or reluctant vaxers - as a society we need high take up of the vaccine.

It'll be tier 5 I'd guess, essentially what we have now but no physical schools or universities. Whether it extends to primary and pre schools I'm not convinced though. If be interested to know what the teachers and other school workers on here think should happen. A small Southampton school had 20 cases in 2 days just before Xmas. One has died and 2 are in hospital.

LB for me too. We've looked dreadful there most of the season. Bertrand just doesn't get forward like he has in the past. On the other side, KWP brings the ball into midfield, runs with it between the lines, overlaps, underlaps, and is generally an attacking outlet. Bertrand popped up in the inside left position once yesterday, rarely got to the byline, barely runs with the ball. He's been a fantastic signing for us, but KWP on the right brings so much more to the team and has shown that we need more at LB.
