Good business IMO. He helped get Osvaldo out of the club. He gave cover if ms went. Now that ms is staying he's not needed. We bin him off and use the wages money for a player we actually need. Not sure what people are complaining about.

I hope we see a mix of squad players and kids. Kelvin Stephens, Jos, Gardos, Targett Taider, Cork, Reed Rowe, Long, Isgrove Something like that should be strong enough and give Ron a chance to look at the squad.

Ah, missed that. I was dealing more with the remark that FF and AB should have been told that they were fighting for no 1. Its understandable that FF will have wanted certain assurances re his position in the team if he were to join so the suggestion of letting them fight it out is not realistic imo. Shame if AB goes but understandable. We've bought well this summer. Areas of weakness have been identified and addressed. I have confidence that will happen here.

Agreed, it's a cover issue. FF will doubtless look after himself better than AB though and hopefully won't miss too much footy. Anyways, the signings so far suggest that areas of weakness are known and being covered. We'll be OK.

Inaccurate. Yes it's easy enough but it's aggravation - completing the claim form, drafting a statement, taking time off work to attend court is time consuming. The minimum court fee is £35 for non online claims. This issue might be a quick fix for not much more than that. Costs are rarely awarded on small claims. if you win you'll be awarded the court fee though. remember though, the court only give awards. It's down to you to enforce (by paying more, and much costlier court fees) the award if he doesn't pay up. Have a word with the fella when he gets back. No doubt you can sort it sensibly - good luck.

Happy with that. We grew into the game and deserved something from it. Bertrand superb. Ditto clyne, wanyama, and Morgan 2nd half. Tadic great in patches, ditto JWP. Pelle had a baptism but held the ball up well and when he had a man playing closer to him looked dangerous. The CB's both did well imo. No glaring errors and very disciplined. We'll do alright this year. Get Ramirez firing, and a proper winger on the pitch, and we'll be a threat going forward.

Our wage bill last year alone was £52m. The training ground cost 38m. There were then transfers, club running costs, stadium related costs etc. We have not been self sufficient.
