You're inability to look at this with balance makes discussion impossible Hypo. Israel do not respect the land that the Palestinians already have and constantly settle it and force Palestinians from their land. They oppose 2 states. If the Palestinians supported 2 states, the fact that the Israeli's don't (and wouldn't based on their form in the west bank), means that sustained peace is impossible
-
What Badger said. Israel have said that they wouldn't be thou, and the settlement policy highlights their stance sadly.
-
I'm not sure that anyone has suggested that they are. It was necessary, and it still is. I'm more interested in knowing who's in favour of a free Palestinian state alongside Israel.
-
Yep, but that's not the point that you and Hypo were making (up).
-
Yep. I'm also unclear how it's felt ok to term unspecified countries as "Arab and Muslim states" but not Israel as a "Jewish state". No doubt someone can clear that up.

Spain now following Australia in saying that they're ready to acknowledge a Palestinian state, ie 2 states. Also describing the Israel response to the 7/10 attacks as "completely disproportionate". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-middle-east-68777333?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=6616486b683d4b45f9381924%26Spain 'ready to acknowledge Palestinian state' - PM%262024-04-10T08%3A58%3A43.865Z&ns_fee=0&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:ea732864-10f2-4164-9ee4-78d8b6dd1ef0&pinned_post_asset_id=6616486b683d4b45f9381924&pinned_post_type=share

The annoying this is that there's a player in there, but he just doesn't put the effort in, or appear interested in the cause. I wouldn't give any more minutes. Enough already.

We should...

2-2 AA and Smallbone.

You mean that Manning bloke who everyone moans about? I guess that if the dice has to be rolled he'll break up the CB partnership and push one of them across, or play Charles out of position.

If you ask a question with a proper question mate, we might get somewhere.

Interesting if it's correct that 13k from 32k deaths are Hamas soldiers. Personally I find that very hard to believe. Everything I've read, even on the likes of the BBC, makes it clear that they've attacked innocent civilians throughout without any justification. The argument that the US were even worse in Mosul doesn't let the Israeli's off the hook for their behaviour. It also overlooks the weaponising of food, water, medicine, and mass destruction of civilian infrastructure which I would hope we all accept has been happening.
-
They're not saying that at all. They're saying they're invading Rafah, that a date has been set, and that nobody's gonna stop them.
-
Err. What about Israel opposing a Palestinian state? Fortunately Australia seem to have sense. Them recognising Palestine as a state may start something meaningful. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-04-09/austalian-government-considers-recognising-state-of-palestine/103687666

Feck, that's just mental. Bless.

Red herrings. RM's brand of walking football, with suicidal tactics, would have is slaughtered in the PL. Look at what Bristol City, Sunderland away, Hull and Liverpool's children did to us then ask yourself of the bloke responsible for that could manage on the PL. He'd be a disaster whatever players he had at his disposal.
-
But it's a very valid point. Puel achieved pretty well in the prem playing dull football. Martin hasn't achieved in the championship playing dull football. RM's football would be a disaster on the Prem. Puel's wasn't.

Two ex saints who didn't make the grade here as wing backs yesterday too. It's a sign. #unfinishedbusiness #bringmadnathhome
