I’ve been impressed by Maja for sure, and I wouldn't say we’re we’re weaker. Just not drastically better. I said it before but the fact we were very keen to almost double our record fee on an attacker suggests to me that everybody thinks we needed more.

A good view of it, and I completely agree I think we’re lacking in the wide areas. Other than that a brilliant window, maybe Edozie is more ready than we believe and can be the gem attacker we’ve needed.

Romeu, Redmond, Stephens & Bednarek would be about 200k off the wage bill. Another 75k (!!) if Walcott goes too. Good to get some of them gone but once again it feels like it was opening us up to a big signing which we're not getting.

Fingers crossed! We're definitely better with the players you've mentioned, it just really feels like a goalscoring winger is what takes us from a relegation fight to a good season for me.

It feels really weird (and maybe a bit spoilt?) to have had such a productive window but feel disappointed we haven't added another attacker. The fact we were willing to almost double our record fee on a winger but haven't found an alternative highlights the fact that everybody is aware of this. Hopefully Edozie is ready for minutes in a similar way to Lavia, otherwise I'll feel extremely worried with our options there this season.
