  1. There is a momentum behind the appoint of Hoddle. I think it could happen !
  2. Pochettino has gone and I don't think anything would have stopped him. I think we will inevitably lose a few high profile managers but I am CONFIDENT that we will appoint a really strong and experienced manager. He will galvanise the team and with a few more high quality acquisitions we will do well next year. Who knows, we may see and improved Gaston and even a revitalised Osvaldo !
  3. Keegan has had his day and so has his type of football. Keegan was not much of a tactician. Hoddle is a good bet though.
  4. I am not a traitor ! Hoddle would be a very good choice. We would play a good brand of passing football and I believe he is tactically very astute. Adkins only left the club a short while ago, it is still too raw to appoint him.
  5. No, we cannot look backwards. I think Hoddle would be OK though.
  6. We need stability not instability. We have time to get in a real good manager before the season starts. The right manager should go a long way to calm the nerves of the fans and reassure the players. I am sure we will lose some very good players, but we will have money and with a bit of know how we can get in some very good replacements and consolidate next year. There is a lot to play for and now is NOT the time to press the self destruct button. I would like to see Glenn Hoddle as manager.
  7. For the above reason, Moyes or Hoddle.
  8. A really good, experienced manager can steady the ship and ensure our premier survival. It has to be Hoddle, who has unfinished business at Saints.
  9. Hoddle, Yakin or Moyes please !
  10. Well, let's just wait and see. We could do with a strong, experienced and steady manager. Hoddle would be ideal.
  11. They poached Hoddle and now Pochettino. Spuds ARE MY NUMBER 1 hated club. Hope they get relegated and go bankrupt !
  12. Rubbish !
  13. No, but on what evidence do you base your assertion that Pochettino has left ?
  14. Pochettino has not, I repeat NOT left Saints. I do not think he will either !
  15. 1. Believe that 17th is where we will finish and anything above is a real bonus ! 2. For 'insurance' reasons, should we finish in the bottom three, believe in the 'yoyo' theory. 3. Remember, that the Premier league is great if we are doing well but full of plastics if we are exiting and of course the Championship is were it is at.
  16. We need an experienced manager like Hoddle to steady the ship. We will start off well in August and unite the fans again.
  17. Hoddle would be a great appointment and at least we would see good football. Plus, Hoddle would have something to prove to a 'the significant few' who protested against him in 2004.
  18. MP has NOT left Saints ! The bedwetters need to get a grip !
  19. Mid table club ? I'd be ecstatic.
  20. Bedwetters and Drama Queens are out in force. If we stay in the Premier League that will be enough. It is always our first aim when we are in the top league and always will be. E very position above 17th is a bonus and the Cups are simply a 'sideshow'
  21. Hoddle was one of our most successful managers.
  22. Nice one !
  23. Seriously, Glenn Hoddle. Next choice David Moyes.
  24. How many points does everyone think we will need to stay up next year ?
