Why are you comparing Forecasts bench appearances at spurs to Butlands at Brums? What point are you trying to make? Clearly he's a better player. Don't see what Nugent has got to do with anything either.

So TDD thinks that Butland may not be much better than forecast, a player the club already has but don't play, ever. Lol

Doesn't really matter what the price is tbf. People think that everything should be £5-10 cheaper. It's the standard response.

He was happy for Sharp to sit on the bench every week until Lee got injured. I'm sure he'll get games but IMO Lambert and Rodriguez will be starting, Lee and Sharp will be making impacts from the bench. Sharp offers no way near as much as Lambert does in terms of all round game so I very much hope that he doesn't get more games than Lambert. I still think that Sharp will struggle to make an impact anyway.

That's nonsense, Sharp will be behind Lambert, Rodriguez and Lee (when back fit).

This is a good point, if you're a progressive forward thinking midfielder, the england midfield is the last place you'd want to be.

Yes he is good enough. Better player than Carroll and I don't care what anyone says. Why are people saying carroll was excellent? Gave the ball away far more than he "held it up", is about as mobile as my nan and can't even run with the ball FFS. Sheer physically is the only reason the guy is anywhere near a football pitch. Lambert is class, why would he suddenly stop having an awesome first touch, vision and finishing in the prem?

It's so ****ing tedious. Shall we just wait and see?

Or just sign him permanently anyway?
