check the security settings, i guess writing to C:/ is disabled for your user account what OS is it running? REPLY to TS SFC- i thought he meant that his HDD had been partitioned into C and D and he was unable to use any of the space on C thus filling up D rather quickly? No? So if he deletes D he then would have a larger, still inaccessible C drive..
