And on goes the cycle again. Dull
-
Jemal all over again?

Harsh, but that's what happens with takeovers. They want their own man. The job Dyche did last season was excellent though, he got respect from their players and the fans. Zola is a good appointment, but you just feel all of last seasons work has been wiped out in one swoop.
-
He's one player that impressed me massively at the back end of last season, came out of no where really and wasn't really heard of. I saw a fair bit of Blackpool on TV at the back end of the season, and he was always available to receive the ball and always successfully passed it forward to a team mate. He seemed to have a decent switch of play on him, good movement off the ball and an ability to find space. He ran the show when we played them at their place. Wouldn't say no to having a player like him in the squad, a pretty cultured midfielder.

Because we want better than Fox and Harding. Shaw isn't ready for week in - week out PL football.

I thought Roy had a good tournament, made the right calls on the whole. You have to wonder how the FA manage rooney though, there's a hell of alot of revenue tied up in sponsorship deals which rely on him playing. I'm pretty sure thsi drives his selection half the time, because on form he shouldn't be anywhere near at the mo.

50% of 15k = 7.5k 15k + 7.5k = 23k. (there or there abouts) -
It's still a hell of alot of money for a player who hasn't made a professional start. Jordi Alba is only costing Barca £8m.
-
True, but he's not a small lad, not massively tall either. Pretty much in the middle.
-
I've seen him, a very technical player, good pace and good energy to get up and down the left side. Very much in the mold of Gareth Bale, but less of a physical presence if you get what I mean.
-
Yep, this is true. Can't see them wanting to move though, what future would he have there? Cashley Cole is there for the next few years at least, and they rate Ryan Bertrand very highly. Can't see him progressing, he's best off sticking here where he'll play games during the next year.

17, he's locked into a pro contract. Jack Cork should have a few words about progression for their young players. -
I've just fired an email to the club for clarification on this one, will post up the reply when I get it.

Is it just me, or did the way Spain play remind you of anyone...?

You've just confirmed your complete lack of football knoweldge right there, and the fact that nothing will ever please you. He's the greatest midfielder (along with Xavi) that I've seen in my lifetime. -
You can pay for it as well if you like....

A clue about what Cortese is telling transfer targets this summer...

I think some of the personal abuse MLG has got recently has been shocking, why knock a guy who is as passionate about this club as anyone? Fair enough, he winds the heck out of me with his pedantic and correcting ways, but he's still a decent contributor to this forum. -
30min lunch break give or take, getting shed loads of overtime though so can't complain. Will have to see what I can do though, there will be a way!

We do play alot of long ball, and who wouldn't when you have someone as effective as Lambert up front, and you'd have to say we were more effective in the 2nd half of the season playing the long ball game, rather than building it up by playing football. Mainly due to teams developing ways to stop us. What made us stand out at the start of the season was our movement off the ball, so a player would pass the ball and then make a move forward, everyone was always moving and we were incredibly fluid in our play. Once teams sussed that and stuck men on players like Lallana and marked us a bit tighter, we couldn't play that way. -
Is anyone being offered the opportunity to pay in installments online? All I'm being directed to is a page to pay the entire sum up front, which I'm not doing as I'd be bankrupt within 24 hours.
-
I think Rodriguez will be over 23 by the time the Olympics start, may be wrong on that. My initial thoughts were ''where is Llallana, or Rodriguez'' etc - but they don't meet the u23 criteria.
-
All the options to login, manage your account etc, aren't there. Therefore it's a pretty splash page which you cannot do anything with.
-
Well, this hasn't gone very well has it. Expected the new ticketing system to eliminate all past issue, in fact this actually seems worse.
-
How do you know? As far as I know, the club put him up in a posh hotel, where the club officials and Rodriguez's party met to discuss terms, before sealing it in a discrete location.
-
For anyone wanting a bit more information on him, this should answer most questions, and is very, very positive. http://netherlands.worldcupblog.org/world-cup-2010/alexander-buttner-vitesses-confident-left-back.html
