  1. Christ, sod that. I'm glad I could watch that as a neutral, but I wouldn't want to experience want those fans were going through on 88/89mins. I was happy to be celebrating by 60mins....! It shows how dangerous these 'poor' teams can be, and in context - albeit in a lower league, we dealt with Coventry brilliantly.
  2. I think this one is dead.
  3. You can be frustrated, but you don't have to go around wanting to beat everyone up. The guy is a nut case and needs help.
  4. That was incredible. I've never seen anything like that in football. QPR deserve a huge amount of credit and they deserve to stay up on that, even though they lost in the end. A fantastic spectacle and it's exactly what football is all about. Those moments of commentary from Tyler will go down in history, epic.
  5. Exactly!!!! so much is made of us not having 3pm KO's next year, but we barley had any this year. And I agree, i bet you we have the majority of our games @ 3pm next year.
  6. jeez, there's some blasts from the past in here. Another one I remember http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtURoWuzfpE
  7. That's the plan, the barcode readers have already been installed at the turnstiles. Season tickets will return to the 'credit card' format, and you'd just swipe them at the turnstile. They'll also allow you to benefit from 'points' from buying items in the store. Normal tickets will have a barcode as part of the stub. And I think almost all the PL are using electronic turnstile management, even a fair few in the leagues below (even charlton use it). So we're a bit late getting on board!
  8. What a deluded idiot. Does he realise that money is just going to vanish? It would have been better to stick it on a bet.
  9. Same argument. He's not ****, but it would cause more damage just changing someone when nothing is actually wrong. IMO.
  10. Yes. I think Sven has proven he's a load of **** in the last few years. It would ruin what we've got here, if we have to change the manager eventually it needs to be done when the time is right. After 2 successive promotions under the current manager, the time certainly isn't right.
  11. Christ sake, you can tell we have no football at the moment. If this is all we're going to get during the summer, then Mods - just shut the forum down until August. I'm not even going to bother giving the post credibility as we all know lard truly wants Adkins out anyway, as he lost the changing room years ago. apparently.

  13. They're going down the QPR route then. That'll work well.
  14. Which is why I think we'll look abroad. Even Jay Rod is insanely priced as they want UPWARDS of £8m. That's crazy. Two of the current top Prem goal scorers cost less them him.( Ba/Cisse).
  15. Nice to see that the playoff's have brought out the MK Dons fans too. Packed...(!)
  16. To be fair, he's already had 2 seasons in the PL - one with Wolves and one with Norwich, so he's done better than Lallana in that respect. I doubt he regrets leaving looking back on what he's personally achieved since, although I know he didn't truly want to leave at the time. If we'd have been bought by Markus 2 weeks earlier he'd have stayed and been part of the journey back, pretty sure of that.
  17. The same Marin that's already signed for Chelsea? I assume (hope!) that post is tongue in cheek anyway!
  18. Hammond, Harding and Guly?!?!?!?!? Have you been following us at all prior to the last 3 years???? Trust me, those 3 are world beaters compared to the dross we've had in their positions. Bit disrespectful to select them as well due to the contributions they've made to our turn around.
  19. . There you go, i've got our worst tactic from the wilderness years in there too. Might need to find 6 more central midfielders though tbf..
  20. Stoke really are the former Saints aren't they? Quite funny how they've assembled most of our former team in there. I reckon there's a chance they could fall the same fate as us next year too, they've been treading water most of this year...and there is always one team that gets sucked into the relegation battle from the season before, who were 'comfortable ish' the year before.
  21. Yep, got him in my team. We played him on the left in a couple of the games so i've stuck him there. Although my team doesn't really have much of a formation tbf.
  22. We didn't have much need for him in the end, he was thrown into the team when we were at our lowest point though. We had no spine to the team and were patched up all over the show, so he didn't exactly have the best opportunity to showcase his talents...but whenever he did get the opportunity in those short 45mins he looked incredibly lightweight and lost. I'm sure there's a good player in there, but you also have to question why he's moved around so much.
  23. Christ, forgot about O'Halloran. Whatever anyone says, he was signed as a promotional move for the up-coming U21 friendly we were hosting. It was no surprise to see his face used in the posters. Harsh on Belmadi Colin..? He was outstanding for us when he played, but that was the problem - we didn't see enough of him. But when he did play he was often a class above.
  24. Doubt there's much in that...!
